All this talk about new ships and I haven't seen a thread on the Rokh yet, how about some standard longrange and some Blasterokh  setups.

i've only done it on the test server but it works  havent been able to afford one yet on TQ. I tried it out on some lvl4 missions and found that for me, it works better that the raven although when the NPcs do get under ya you have to rely on drones a lot. I used:
8x 425mm Railguns (prototypes)
xLarge Shield Booster2
Shield Boost amp
2x t2 Shield hardeners
t2 invulnerability field
tracking comp
2x Pdu 2s
3x Mag Stab 2s

ahh cool, yeh i had noticed them abit on the *cough* costly side of things, plan on getting one when i get the chance though. just wondering why people are fitting the smaller rails to them, as i always guessed them to be abit of a 425 platform? wasn't that what it was inted for...

Nice sig there too! I know I though about that also.
I found a Rokh for 180mil so it's mine now and for now going to use for missions till there not absolutely prirmary, becasue you know any new ship is now :P
I have to test the 425s more but a blasterohk is pretty nasty.

guys use 350mm's t2 , cost like a fraction of 425's and u really dont need 425's on the rohk, they have only a bit less dps but better tracking and easier to fit ;)

Yep. Also remember better tracking means that you will get more excellent hits, which equates to increased damage, as well as allowing you to hit cruisers a lot easier.
And you don't need to worry about 150mils worth of uninsured weaponry going pop if you're a pessimist such as I!

Im a relative newb when it comes to PvP so here is the setup im using onTranquility.
8x 350mm gauss railguns with iridium ammo and antimatter whn its needed.
1 gist B-type shield boost
1 gist B- type shield amp
1 Targeting computer [forgot the name its tech 1 tho and medium slot]
3 harners 1 em 1 thermal 1 kinetic gives me 70% allround resits excluding EM which is at 62%
2 Void damage mods
2 Targeting computers
And something else i cant remember
8 tech 1 combat drones.
So hows thios and how can i improve it.
Oh almost forgot i tested this against a tanked navy raven and was getting on average 60 points of damage per shot.
And i have caldari battleship trained to 4 
Oh and 30 days from ahving tech 2 guns.

Anyone try blasters on this thing yet? I wonder how far large neutrons will hit with the range bonus and null...

Only tried on testserver like someone else, but:
Rokh does missions nice with 350mm Railguns (I got BS 4 and crap gunnery and get 33km optimal with antimatter and around 111km with iron) - It can tank better than the Raven but you need more cap from firing guns all day and you will have trouble with frigates and some cruisers if you don't pack drones...
5 medium drones should easily do the job for you though and you cal always pop frigates on aproach if you're smart...

For blasters:
Hi:
8x Neutron II (Null due to no tracking bonus)
Mid:
T2 Booster + amp
2x Invulnerability II
1x Electrochemical Injector (800 booster charges)
1x MWD II
Low:
3x Mag Field Stab II
2x PDS II
Rigs:
EM Sheild
Therm Shield
Boost AMP
With this setup I 'almost' managed to trash a hyperion on sisi, prior to that I was wasting everything I had on an abaddon (which warped off finally) leaving me with half cap and zero booster charges. So I decided to run headlong into a hyperion nearby and rightly smashed it to 20% armor when my cap finally gave out and died.
EDIT
To answer a previous question, With Null I had an effective range of up to about 18km.
