well.. I just broke up with my BF of 3 years.. but it doesn't feel like a weight off my shoulders, it doensn't feel like it was the right choice.
I feel terrible.
I loved him so much but for a while now the feeling was gone, there was no more spark.
I even took him on a holiday to spain to see if we could work things out but it didn't help so I just told him.
I feel like the worlds biggest bastard right now.
Did I do the wrong thing?

If it wasn't working for you, I can't see how it would be considered the wrong thing.
Between corps atm, the NPC one is strictly a temporary thing.

if the answer's "no" then you did'nt do the wrong thing.

Thank you everyone, I feel much better about it now.
You're right, if it's not working then there is no point in dragging it out.
About the boy/girl thing too, I am Male and I'm glad to see that we are a mature enough group of players to not care.. Eve is so wonderful.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, as the old Engish saying goes.
3 years is a long time. Take a break mate, have some quiet time to yourself and see how you feel after a couple of months, then go from there.
If you still feel you did the wrong thing, then it's probably time to talk things out with him.
I'm sure you'll be alright
