Posted - 2006.12.04 21:51:00 - [1] Edited by: Constantine Arcanum on 04/12/2006 21:55:42 Well: I was looking in the corp hangar the other night and saw something i haven't seen before, some Evaporite Deposits (Chemical symbol KCL). I had a modular science exam the next day, and it asked me to make the sum of the elements Potassium with some ionic compound of chlorine or something. Anyway I fully balanced the equation time after time, but couldn't get it right... so then by chance I thought back to the night before when I saw the KCL in the corp hangar... lo and behold, that was the answer! Eve actually helped my brain! So CCP I thank you for nudging my score up a mark. I got an A* on that exam and i wouldnt have got it if I didn't play EVE So in summary playing eve will get you A*'s at GCSE Science. I actually heard some German exchange students talking on the shuttle to northern campus yesterday and could make out some of what they were saying, that's pretty awesome .

I could refer you to an old friend of mine if you do play. Speaking of FFXI, I won a trivia contest because of that. I was in Atlanta visiting my father, and he took me to a bar that holds trivia contests (he doesn't normally go, but one of his friends wanted me to come along). Well, the final question was "What two metals combine to make Bronze?". I had recently been leveling my crafting skills. I think my group got 2nd place for that, so I guess not a win, but still. MMOs are edumacation4l! :D

And we had to match up the symbol with 4 others that were different and one was the same. The professor looks around the class and says Can anyone match witch symbol goes with witch? I look around the class then the prof looks at me and says "So do you have the answer." I go "Well ya I learned this when I watched Seseme Street growing up." (Refering to when they would have 1 red shoe and maybe 6 other shoes that were blue and the 7th was red and you had to match the 2 red shoes.) The whole class started busting up laughing because this was supposed to be a more advanced class. And the professor said " I must have missed that episode." the class started laughing again because he did not get the connection between the digital class and the Seseme Street skit.

EVE doesn't teach you sT, you would learn more playing, age of empire. Cevilization or TOTAL War series. Si Fi never teaches anything more than moral values and maybe basic Trade. ARENA
