Why in the world would you put the icon for buddies logging in/out in the upper left hand side??? right where you have the system info and such..
put it back to where it belongs? Down right :)

Or even better, let us decide in which corner we want it. But I agree, it was much better and less intrusive to have it in the lower right corner.

I'd really love it if it was returned to the 'nothing there' bottom right instead of the 'system info panel' top left. Thing is, I swear I've seen some of the login/logoffs showing in the bottom right still! Very odd.

Yeah you are actually right, I've seen sometimes icons in both places, like it's bugged or something. Mostly though single items appear top left. It is very distracting at best (moderately annoying in reality as time goes).
Maybe they want to bug us that much so we can delete them, but buddies/enemies are still needed imo, you simply cannot put standings toward every single person in game, or can you.. hm.. is it worth the effort is another matter.. :/

As a drone using gang-pvper, I like it where it is now. Those flashing up icons used to get right on my nerve in the bottom right.
Not that I'd notcice now- since the local change, my budy list is empty

Dude you just have to be 180o from me on any point don't you. It is darn annoying where they are. And I am a drone user too even if I am caldari. Cannot see your point. Bottom right is much better since it was underneath everything.
As for drones put them in groups for pit's sakes.it is much easier.
I was wondering which whiny point they took into account when they changed it in the first place, now i know...
 at the usual suspects...

I don't mind them being busy. That's something to do AFTER they fix the other issues.
By the way, i don't see why they'd go about changing perfectly good things like that if they were that busy in the first place !!!

Heh, sorry, is unitentional I swear.
In all honesty I'd barely ever thought about it before. It was a little irritating where it was, and is a little less irritating where it is now (for me) but I really don't have a strong opinion on it. As you say, it was hardly game-breaking where it was.
And yes, the drones are in groups- Domi pilot with 4 types of drones, in 4 groups, with the gang window also open (along with all new gang buttons, gang broadcasts, gang-tier organising, etc) still takes up pretty much the full vertical of my screen.

I hear what you are saying, however the new location is just as if a misfitted spit on the screen... (yeah it's a bit gross of a comparison, isn't it  )
But at least they could have put it bottom left then, although that's where my ship cargo/and chat sit :)
Lower bottom was great tbh, you hardly noticed it, and was like a silent reminder that someone has logged on/off. Now it has the visual equivalent of a torn shriek.

The only time I see it in the bottom right is when more than one comes up at once, they used to just stack vertically. Why not just let the player decide where it come up? The UI just doesn't have anywhere near as much customizability as it should. Why can't I have my overview on the left? The cap readout bottom left?
