t3? omg. It has already been said but i am gonna say it again: tech II ships cost too much already so if tech III stuff comes out it will be uber expensive. factions bs are already kind of tech II bs and look at the price of them. as for the new player, they already have to wait 6 - 8 months to even be half decent at pvp in smaller ships. the odd thing is that the tech II ships actually help the noob compete when they are finally able to fly them. If they were not so expensive it would be worthwhile. it takes longer to be effective in tech I than tech II so it is a kind of irony that the player with the most sp and the most isk can get away with risking less in combat. This is evident if we look at the caldari tier II battlecruiser and compare it to the far more expensive cerb and we find that the bc is by far more cost effective. This is crazy and must be changed. |

Are you quite sure that you know where you stand or this or are you just looking around you and see the void in all directions?

Actually, T2 price on the overpriced stuff is 10% bill of materials, 60% cartel tax, 30% reseller tax. As soon as T3 is out and people aren't willing to shell out 300m for a hac you bet they'll go down to a reasonable price.

Actually they way they were talking the tech 2 BPO's would be seeded and the tech 3 stuff would all be available by invention. This would be wonderful for people like me that are about a year old and had no idea what tech 2 BPO's were let a lone how to get a hold of one.
This is still a little way off as all the new tech 2 BPO holders would cry, moan and ***** if they lost their strangle hold on the T2 market.

I'm willing to bet large amounts of ISK t2 BS will be 'flagships' - uber bonii for gang mods and logistics mods, two or three weapon hardpoints, and masses of drone space/resists.
