Hope this is the right forum.
I installed Eve on this computer a couple of days ago because I'm going to be out of town for a couple of weeks and couldn't take my desktop.
The launcher won't work. It loads, but before I can enter user/pass it just locks up.
So, after doing some forum research, I took the advice of someone here and changed the icon to switch to dx9, but now all the fields say "no messageID:" followed by a bunch of numbers.
Advice? |

First, you'll likely have better luck posting this in our Issues, Workarounds, and Localization section, which is followed by our technical GMs.
That said, I would start by attempting to reinstall the launcher, first:

If that doesn't work, you can use this procedure to find the launcher log:

and open a support ticket using the Submit Ticket button on our CCP technical support knowledgebase page, which will get you personalized assistance from one of our technical GM team.

Well.. in an effort to maintain order in the universe, we must follow the rules. One cannot get away with a correct answer or solution in GD without a little trolling. Here is some troll to correct this oversight.
Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
