On a whim and mostly for fun because I have never ran them before. I have let my corp mate talk me into doing Angel Cartel Null Anomalies. I want something that can solo the hardest sites. Can a legion run these? If not, what are my options? I really don't want to fly an ishtar or tengu. Any sexy ham legion fits out there? |

I don't know about T3's that are able to do it though I hear a lot about people who pair the Tengu and Proteus to great effect.
Are you interested at all in BS's that are able to do it? Cause I'm a RattleSnake FanBoy and I could talk to you about that.. Though if Shield Tanking and drone skills aren't your thing I don't know. |

Rattlesnake is king however. Missile legion is ok, but not great, you do not want to use lasers against angels. |

Yeah ham legion is what I was looking at. I'm not looking for efficiency, I have an incursion alt for my isk making. I mainly want to know if a legion can handle the stronger sites. |

Any properly fit t3 can handle any null sec anom. Even Forlorn types where you trigger double/triple spawns. And there are plenty fo ways to do it (oversized AB fits, deadspace repper fits, passive tank etc).
The problem is in some cases getting that much tank costs you DPS, Battleship sized hulls are better for null anoms, point blank. |

Having to grind through dozens of high level BS NPCs with half or less dps a decently fit BS has is not going to be 'fun' I can promise you that.
That said maybe look at a semi afk sentry ishtar running Bouncers or Wardens? That way you can at least reduce the chance of RSI and save some wear and tear on your mouse. |

Minnie gun or Angel ships "should" be optimal for Angels.
But they aint.

I can't beat the ticks I get out of my machariel wtih ACs. I'm running T2 fit (including guns) but only Minnie BS 4 and Gal BS 3. It's going to perform -way- better with both those at 5. Probably push consistently into the 14-16m/tick (Guessing). Right now I can consistently do 12.5-14M ticks. Dual boxing drops this to ~9M per character |

I was running those sites in Proteus (very expensive to fit, because of natural low explosive resistance). But the problem with T3 is realy low damage output. Legion is even worse if you do it with lasers, not much better if you do it with missiles.
Then I switched to Machariel. And I was sooo surprised how good this ship. It does Sanctums without any problems, I did solo 10/10 several times without any problems.
So if you are interested in high Isk/hour rate, then go for Machariel. If you want to waiste time, then stick with Legion. |

Awesome advice, thanks guys. I've decided to give the rattlesnake a go. I'm really not one for enjoying bs hulls in pve. I guess at the very least I can help my corp out with running anoms every once in a while if I use the rattlesnake . If I hate that, I'll just day trip c3 whs in a ship I enjoy. |

You can trip c4 holes in a rattlesnake also btw.

The machariel handles a lot like a cruiser and the snake performs best in my opinion with sentries and a flight of high tracking heavies for backup. |
