I Like the new Simple view filter in Contracts, however sorting at prize is bugged. It sorts 6 mil higher in list as 500 mil.

I like how I managed to find/kill a faction spawn before the server went down. Maybe I'll find another when they bring the server back up =)

Well, to get through times like this (and software is just this way), you have to have a life, so you can go about something else while the updates are adjusted.
BTW, I noticed on the recent short uptime that I couldn't see any of my agents. Not sure if that's a problem or not.

I didn't have a Local channel when I got in. Since I hadn't seen it in the patch notes I figured it was just a temporary glitch (and still think so) despite the frequent requests from PvPers to nerf it, but it was interesting bopping around in my low sec system without that crutch. On balance I think I'd prefer keeping it, but it would still be an interesting game without it.

Just picking up on an earlier point, I noticed that some of the agents in station seemed to be missing. Most were there but a couple weren't.
Not sure if this is an issue or just slow initial loading of stuff.
Hope the agents haven't gone - 1 was my main source of missions......

Just a little complaint.
For some reason I can't download a patch without it being corrupt (if I try about ten times it works). It also corrupts the install before I find out.
I have a CD but I can't patch that because the link is bust.
I could download the full build, but its not the latest.
So that means EVE no worky!
Make sure the link to the full build is the current full build.
Make sure all the links work.
Would be nice if a corrupt patch didn't screw the install but fixing the simple stuff will do.

Well I hope they have a good Pizza delivery service (with added vitamins, after all we don't want their brains to go all fuzzy). I also hope that all beer is banned, otherwise this problem will never get fixed.
Now we just need to request current photos of CCP staff, the guy with chunks out of his hair is the one to shoot

It only takes someone to fail to check in code, or check in the wrong code to get a build to be really stinky.

Ok imagine this.... your superduper server that can handle workloads of 30,000 active accounts suddenly gets a request to Delete X amount of Datafiles it stores in its database per user login...then you spam the server with 15k account Connections...15000X 2-300 Bookmark files to be deleted with 15k connections to be pinged and confirmed by the server....im suprised it didnt go bang..honestly...

Current Issues, before server was just brought down again:
Market wouldn't open
Character Sheet took several minutes to display anything
People and Places wouldn't open
Splitting a pile of ammo in the cargo hold didn't work
...well, many things were very very slow or simply completely unresponsive
BUT
Undocking, flying around in space and module activation was perfectly responsive.
/me waits patiently for the server resurrection
Good luck to all the devs working for this - we all know you're doing your best and appreciate it.

didnt they say soon...as in next week , next month , next year..i think it gets seeded once all the bugs concerning those major items like ships, t2 mods etc etc get fixed or nerfbatted....id expect it in a month or two at the soonest.

I spent from 11:33am EST until the server reboot trying to log into the game....so what, 50 minutes? You guys aparently were having node crash issues so that may explain it.
I will try to be brief but I am slightly irritated so bear with me here. Pre kali I was involved in my share of fleet battles. Sometimes the node crashed sometimes it didn't but the battle happened one was or another. When it did I lagged for 30sec-1min max while the grid loaded and then I was basically good to go. Granted frame rates were lower but in 200+ person battles what do you expect, right?
Since Kali I have made the exact same optimizations to my client, I have almost no bookmarks yet I have lagged completely out of both fleet battles I have been in since. I don't mean a little lag, I mean I warp in and wait 10min till my client crashes, log back in and the game freezes till the client crashes, rinse, repeat until I wind up in my pod back at the station lag free. In fact, last night I warped in and sat for OVER AN HOUR on the same SINGLE frame that I got when I came out of warp while my alliance went to work on a POS. I crashed once, logged back in, waited in queue to get into the system, loaded a single frame in which I saw the POS shield and almost no ships then sat around getting absolutely 0 more frames until my wing commander warped me to the station. At the station there were 20 or so friendlies and 2 enemies, I FINALLY got a frame every 3 seconds or so and was able to watch the slideshow but I still could not move or activate any modules. Once everyone cleared out of the system a couple of hours later and only 100 or so were in local my FPS went back to normal.
I don't know how to be hugely constructive here as my settings worked 100% of the time pre-kali. I have LOD and dither set, never generate picture, I was running 16bit color and depth, no depth buffer, sound off. In my overview I had no icons or backgrounds set to show, I only showed enemy BCs and smaller ships, I had the fleet section minimized, all of my chat windows were minimized, I turned off all passive modules, I had no readout of shield/armor/structure.
As for my system I have:
2.4ghz HT
p4c800 deluxe mobo
2gig PC3200
2x WD1200 120gig hard drives (IDE)
Onboard 3com NIC
EVGA geforce6800
Please contace me ingame, e-mail, phone anything and I will try and work with you to fix the problem. I know I am not the only person. My brother was at both of the battles and he suffered almost the exact same problems (just no CTDs) and our systems are almost identical.
I have defragged, turned off my virus scan and firewall, closed all processes but necessecary ones in the process tree, I'm using Bellsouth DSL, plaing in full-screen, set game's affinity to only one processor in task manager and set the game to high priority thread. I mean I really can't think of anything else I can do.

The new sort filter in the Contracts window is faintly visible in the background even when "Show More Options" is not in use. Apparently it's not properly hidden like the other extra options.

all attempts to log on for the last hour or so have hung either at authentication or at loading bulk data.

My Problem is the FPS scince revelations launched, i dont know what was changed but its sucking sooo bad in fleet fights atm where as i had no issues as bad as 0.3 fps before

Jump queueing is currently out of control.
I am deep in Metropolis region where there are less than 3 people in any given system, yet I get jump queued at almost every gate.
PLEASE CCP remove this poorly implemented workaround or if that is beyond your capabilities make our ships invunerable once we enter any jump queue.

apart from the insane lag that seems to plague my play time since the patch I had the most odd experience last night
when I logged on I changed my training to a skill that only had about 7min left to finish.
I looked around the market which was laggy as hell, had to close it and open it after each item I looked up. It was pretty screwed.
But here's the good part.
I eventually undocked at the same time my skill completed. I heard the "skill training completed" and saw and got the eve mail. But when I went to my skills the skill had not finished, it was back with 7 min left to go?!
I went back and checked the evemail, yes it said Gallente Battleship lvl2 completed. Strange...
I set it training again and 7mil later it finished ok
I have 2 eve mails, one after the other. Telling me the same skill has completed.

Yep, me too except it was for Salvage Level 4 IIRC. I got the 2 EVEMails back to back as well for them.
I wrote it off to the patch and a glitch caused by it. Its interesting to hear that it seems to be happening with other people's training times. That said, it has only occurred once so far for me.

tis taking the urine when it takes me 30 minutes to go 3 jumps only to see 4 other ppl in space in the entire journey :(
login and gate queues are the only real thing putting me off playing atm.

ive had that bug before....i fixed it by starting it again...then clicking to abort....and once it had aborted it showed as fully finished...so i started the next level off

My drones are now bugged like hell. Don't know if it was reported before, but now really often my hammerhead tech 2 and hobgoblin tech 2 do NO damage to all my mission npcs!
After switching to another target they do damage... don't know what happens here, but i hope it will be fixed soon, drones are my main weapon at the moment

Spot on...I am not happy about having to wait till tomorrows DT for this lag to get fixed....why cant it be done now???
