CCP, not sure 25000 people have brought this to your attention, but player channels are busted. I maintain a very large and active channel that nobody can type in and/or nobody can see what other players are typing. Closed and opened it several times, resized it, joined it to other channels that work, detatched it from the local/corp chat windows... nothing works to make my player channel operational as it was prior to the patch.
Thanks... THUKKER -Be Paranoid

Aye, this is affecting several of the player-created channels I use (but not all of them, strangely). If the next DT doesn't sort this out it is going to escalate into a major pain the rear. -------------------

I deleted the machonet folder and seems to be working fine... seems. We'll see if there are other problems.

Edited by: Futher Bezluden on 06/12/2006 02:46:24 K, found the solution...
Delete the URL's you have in the channel. Close channel and rejoin it. Right-Click Channel topbar, SETTINGS. General Tab *Type out the full URL to the IGB Compatible site (it helps keep people from crashing out and yelling at you) *Highlight and CTRL+C. *Click the URL button *Select "HTTP://" *At bottom where you type the URL, CTRL+V to paste, but delete the "http://" from it so you don't end up with the link being "Http://http://", you want "Http://" *Press ok.
Your URL in the MOTD should work now. No more "CLICK HERE FOR WHATEVER" and highlighting that, click URL and add the url you want.
You can have multiple URL's too
EX:
http://www.whatever.com -highlight that, click URL, select "HTTP://" and in the bottom type "www.whatever.com" (SPACE) http://www.wherever.com --highlight that, click URL, select "HTTP://" and in the bottom type "www.wherever.com"
------------EDIT THIS DOES NOT WORK. CCP BROKE THE PLAYER CHANNELS, NO MORE URL's in the MOTD. THANKS CCP.
