It must be true now .....
A whole day travelling around sector to sector and everyone we meet on the way ran for cover and hugged the stations.
Our only excitement was text based when we actually volunteered our location to the locals and we were told that they were awaiting 30 of their friends to arrive  (1bs & 2cruisers v 1bs and 2 cruisers - seemed fair)
It appears that in just a short amount of time, the locals have turned to either running or they wait for foreign system backup...
pffft
think ill grab me a deck chair and park up next to a sun somewhere and admire the stars.

And actually, we have fought against odds several times (3vs15 type battles) and stayed to deal as much dmg as possible before pulling out. I think Vannessa is just pointing out that fact that our small handful of people have an entire region scared when we come through :)

You sound a bit shocked Vannessa.
I can asure you that you have no control over Aridia region. I sat outside a station with 4 of your corp members in the system on my own i challenged them. Even though no casualties were taken, I still stood my ground until my cap ran dry :)
Then I conceded and fled to a station.
Upon returning, I found sara K waiting for me... She continued to fire upon me without my retaliation, I sat and watched as Outlaw warped in, and opened up, guns blazing only to find that because I had not retaliated in any way, the sentry guns fired a full spread and took out his Tempest I could easily of taken out his pod but that would just be pathetic and degrading.
by this time I had taken very little damage as I watched a few other guys from a friendly neighbouring corp battle it out with Sara K and another PAK member.
Oh how I laughed.
Im sure the sentry's were firing at Sara K aswell, but im not sure 
Anyway, I will be seeing you guys again hopefully and look forward to kicking your asses.

I must admit that having PAK in our system has upped the tempo in game a bit .. added a bit of spice as it were,
for 0.2 space it seemed a bit safe to fly around till now and they are welcome to do what they do.
as long as they really don't expect everyone to stand and fight, the game is geared towards PvP admittedly, but there are those of us who either do not have the skills, have only played a short time or just don't want to be seen reading ''guns and ammo for space cadets'' magazine .. and would like to mine and manufacture.
and these people (me included) will leggit asap if you warp in
it's perfectly understandable and you talking down to us is acceptable.. but just wait till we call in for reinforcements.
this is called tactics, and is rather effective.
just like farmers with pitch forks when the castle guards come for the tax .. u gonna getta pike in ur ass

We have plenty of backup all the time to help out and theres never more than 4 PAK on at a time (so far)
They're slowly losing ships aswell :)

Yeah I opened up with Cruise Missiles and Guns, I got a message that the station took splash damage and bingo sentry guns where firing away. It looked like you where not that close to the station...oh well sh_it happens. I did hit the warp button but I was totally lagged out, not from Coldplay deploying drones or mines it was my connection. Yeah you never did pod me , I'll return the favour.

The game is about fun. Not just for ourselves, but we hoped to bring a little excitement to the otherwise boring Aridia region (read my other threads). What's the point of ships and clones if you're not going to use them? We're not afraid of taking losses in either ships or clones... it's all part of the game and we can easily replace them. We do put ourselves into situations that we can't win, and congratulate the victors. No need for any smack talk. Anything we say about "owning Aridia", take it as stirring the pot. Building up tension. Getting everyone riled up. I know there are many in Aridia having fun with our campaign and so are we  . Stop taking everything so seriously :P
PS- @ hellwarrior and coldplay, do you think you and friends are the only people trying to run us out? There are other groups we've been at war with, we just don't post our victories. It is true though, your group has been putting up better numbers that we haven't been able to match yet. GW.

Annoyed because we couldn't freely fly haulers with lots of our precious not for you pirate goodies. :p

I flew around the system for 30 minutes without being challenged. I went to every planet, field, gate, and moon without a problem.
(By the way, there's a Forsaken Stockpile and a ruined station at Planet 2 if anybody is interested.)
After I started my 2nd search of the system I finally found Power (and yes, I had to seek HIM out) at a station in a Moa. We did the cat and mouse thing for about 20 to 30 minutes with no damage to either side.
During that time he changed to a Blackbird and tried using that on me. I stayed with the shuttle as the fast movements seem to keep Power confused.
Not a very good showing for a barney bad ass pirate with big balls who "owns" Aridia I'm afraid.
PAK has 11 members. I'm not sure how they intend to "own" a whole region with those numbers.
Especially if Power is any indication of their combat talents.
And here's a tip. If you want to be a pirate you need to go out and attack people. Don't wait for them to hunt YOU down.
Burn that big L on your forehead dude.

First off you say you hunted me. You ran through every planet, field, gate, and moon without a problem. LOL
Straight off you show your a nOOb. So ill go slow for you. I all ready knew you were in a shuttle as i scanned the full system. So why would i care bother coming to chase your alt ass aroung the system.
So really you wasted a lot of time runing lots of belts ect and never looked in the once place i was. if you had put your brain in gear you could have easily guessed where i was.
So take a stab in the dark at where i was you idiot.
As i said i was busy scouting the system after i was satisfied i decided to warp to you for some fun. Knowing exactly where you were the full time. i warped in, you wapred out. ooh very brave.
I then went and changed ship to a bb coz there was some nice ships in system. While waiting for a friend to arive i wapred back to where you were. Knowing that i cant move within 60 km of the station you stayed and hugged the station like a little girl. So i stayed for about 5 mins and then fired of two missles at you so as not to leave you dissapointed, and then i left.
About 5 mins later we came back in system and prepared to hunt the locals. But you obviously had logged back onto your main character at that point.
That what happened form my point of view. And once again i will point out how brave you were in using an alt to come see me. You were obviouly to scared to do it on your main.
So in conclusion you are a nOOb a joke, dont forget an alt thus i will no longer reply to you in this thread.

wow, my topic post started a riot :)
My post came from a very frustrating day of nothing to do and normally we have people everywhere after us. Maybe the locals were in the local barn , line dancing or summit on that particular day...
I would like to highlight what sara has already said - stop taking it all so serious with the smack talk, its all fun and i/we are quite happy to lose ships BUT i aint hangin around in a 15+ v 4 fight when we stand no chance.
but i look forward to meeting u all again
and btw - i never wanted a kitten anyways !!

Shhh crazy Aridian's. We DO! own aridia and you are all our pawns. We have been in this region for less then a month and you expect us to make any major effect ?. All i have to say is stfu, have some fun and get ready cause the balls about to drop.
P.S. The fact that many of you have never heard of us is no big shock. The universe is a very big place and up untill now we were down hunting NPC in biomass controlled area. A small corp such as PAK is very well known wether you think we are or not. Many people know about the PAK loot shop (all items are legit) I myself was champion of house Kador along with sara as my wingman. I used to help run the financial job in the old corp DA Dragons and now we have a our own region .
All the smacktalk and flames we are getting is started to make a very big vain pop outa my head. The ammount of immature post etc... we recieve makes it hard to take all the crap with a smile. Everyone should be amazed that im still sticking to our way of pirating believe me when i say its getting to the point where i would like to POD the region. Have some fun people, do some roleplaying and get outa my region or pay up.

/em Pulls up a bar stool and orders an Aridian Ale, looks round the sh1t-hole bar and ponders the people with really big hoods covering their faces who have, for some bizarro reason got kittens on little sparkly pink leashes sipping milk by the table side.
it's been a long old week Hauling dirty great piles of Scor for a cheap-skate boss who rarely pays half the decent price for it and even less often pays on time. but at least it's been quiet out there the fields are empty and no signs of any trouble in the form of old peg-leg.
A scuffle breaks out on a far table, one of the kittens is stealing milk from anothers bowl and the owner is eyeing up the miscreant and hissing, the hoodies are facing each other (must be some perception implant to see thru the cloth) and their hands are straying to their holstered gama-ray guns.
the atmosphere calms as the now fat and burping kitten saunters away from a second empty bowl and runs herself against her owners leg, he/she/it lowers a hand from a weapon to stroke its tiny head and sits back down. The barman heaves a great sigh of relief and returns the magneto-bat to it's resting place below the bar.
chances are, the quiet times are over for this region unless theres a way to unite all the local factions into a coherent fighting force, but thats as likely as CONCORD finally ridding the universe of those pesky space mice! or is it. might have to pay a visit to a few old friends and see about the 5 mil isk we owe her.
drink finished now and walking to the exit, sweet kitten eyes and hoods follow the movement to the door, bloody strange lot but there's worse out there no doubt, wonder if my old autocannon still fires?

(and im not much on fighting 3 ships with 15 bs as backup) give me the credit i deserve, warhound, i even gave you safe passage thru a gate into kamih because i didnt want to bully your little blackbird.

To bad i dont ever see ya.....i seen Warhound on nite for a few minutes(20 min it think) as he was running all over the place trying to get away from us.
Dont pay these guys any mind,, they are like the little sh*t down the road that wont leave you alone(wanting to come over and play all the time), if you ignore him he eventually goes away ! so just like that,, if you ignore them and let them sit in the station long enough they will leave. How much fun is it to sit in a station 24/7? Never done it but it cant be that GREAT !

hmmm where to start... that attack you speak of, i lost my ship... power got away. I got a huge lag spike and when it stoped i was in a pod but no one will believe that so yea i died, power didnt.
Oh and the 12vs2, that was earlier in a differnt system... (no im not complaining about the odds)
They had all the gates camped and there was 3 at the sun. I guess since they were hiding behind the gate they figured we would torp them and take sentry dmg.
I posted my comment because im tired of us being called *****s cause we "hide" in station when there being camped by numerous Battleships. Not to mention the fact that half the time were not.
Our 3v1 on coldplays scorp... dont complain yea hypocrites.

In your little 12V2 stunt you all sat at gates for an hour. When one of you finally sent a bb to find us it got killed.
Also in the last 2 days another few corps tried to join the "remove PAK event". Both corps are now down a bs.
So well done to the aridian locals
Also this has no effect on our pirating. So you aint hurting us or stopping us form doing anything.

aha, PAK claims to own aridia .....rofl
only thing, they are really good in is to show up in front of a station, with 3 or 4 BS , if someone else warp in , they are really fast in logging off to switch to their alts ( sitting inside the station )
ups, i forgot soren..... hmm, he wasnt able, to fight vs. 2 cruisers ( 2 weeks before at a huntingspot ) the very first thing he does , was to dock at the next station , to start his smack rofl
hmm, no, PAK is not really dangerous, more like a bad comedy ...... onlyone i ll give some respect to, is warhound , the rest is just crap nothing more

Ship counts are for 24 hours you idiot.
And I killed a ship their an hour or so before our encounter. Piolts name was Dravious.
Thus where the other ship comes form.
Also Ivana Humpalot. How would you know what happens when your a 0.0 sec status nOOb corp member?
On a side note ***** Galore also seem to be an alt of someone in omnigen.
So why are we so crap and in station ALL the time. apparently. but you feel the need to come to the forum and post on alts?

Yet another ongoing post on PAK why PAK ? Its not like theres anything that makes them special from the other 100 pirate corps. They rob, they kill, then they get killed. Then we find ourselfs rambling on and on about the same event. Rather pointless just a waste of space on a server some where.

As for the question about why everyone post about PAK and not other pirate groups. Its because PAK found the carebare capital of the universe.
And the day of the 12vs2 we killed 2 ships you guys killed none LOL! the one Power said and another by the name of Chucky.

Actually at the time you got me it was 2 on 1, you were running from even or fair odds. I figured it was fair considering how much running you doing. But you both actually stayed and fought, I lost and itĘs no big deal. But atleast I didn't run or whine for my stuff back, like some pirates do
... you will see more and more marketing which in turn will bring you more players to torture. |

I donĘt talk crap. I was just trying to flush out scared little rabbits. Only reason there was a few ships there was because you keep running around trying to waste our time. When things get too hot you log off and I guess you go ********** for a very long period of time. At least I actually play the game, most havenĘt seen most of PAK for days. But keep talking crap, it keeps squatters out.

Forums are the worst indication of what we do; most pirates are aware of that. 90% of the posts about us here are about us losing battles, or being weak, etc. Fact is though, we've been doing quite a lot in the game, we just don't post every little thing that happens, which makes it look one-sided and as if we're in some way losing.
A region is a big place, we can't guarantee we'll see everyone at a certain time, but we're certainly trying to mix things up from day to day so we don't hit the same place at the same time too often.
