I have been flying the loki for a while now, mainly for exploration and the odd lvl 4 missions, and recently started flying the tengu. I never looked at missile ships until the tengu since i preferred my rust buckets.
I love the loki for exploration but sometimes the dps seems a bit lacking for lvl 4s and was wondering what kind of numbers for dps most people were putting up with the loki and the tengu and how much of the difference there will be between them in regards to those level 4 missions. |

Well, my exploring Loki can get 500 DPS with all 5s (more like 400 with my skills closer to 4s). I will admit that I'm not minmaxed for damage though, since it's an exploring fit.
I would guess you can get 500-700 DPS from a Loki, depending on skills and fit and implants. And I have heard similar numbers from Tengus too. I think the biggest difference is the damage projection in Tengus. They can hit the same DPS out to 100km, with no falloff or tracking issues. |

With hail 593. But im not using the scoping array so im more concerned with volley damage....which last I checked was between 900 -1500. (Some of those could be wrecking shots)
Damage numbers are hard to get consistent with 425's due to range. |

you can get 850 dps with the tengu. nothing beats it for lvl4s..  |

thanks for the replies. I was just wanting to get an idea of where i was.
Im not at all 5s but most of the gunnery and loki relevant skills are 4+, and with my exploration fit i pull around 450 dps not counting drones. I was never woried about getting popped in any lvl 4s but some of them took a while to complete.
Just wanted to make sure i wasnt doing anything horribly wrong. My tengu and missile skills are still needing work but i can do lvl 4s a little bit faster in it than my loki, which is kind of annoying. I love my loki, but it looks like it will be relegated to straight exploration duty from now on. |

My mission Proteus does 1200dps with implants course you can throw bricks further than it deals damage but it is fast. |

Too bad arty sub doesnt allow drones. The loki would shine in missions then. |

Hoo so nice, mine does a little less with 105k EHP (fleet bonus) and it's a wonderful tool to gank noobs, bots and kidding reccons (with cloacky sub)

935 dps for incursion loki - that's including the 5 hobos, 2 implants and t2 rig, range of course is quite pitiful - pretty much sub 25km effective and less than the 35km webs :). |
