Old timers, share your nostalgia stories here. This isn't a "omg kali sux" thread, because in fact I'm loving Kali (Rokh for the win). It's simply a way to share some memories, fond or foul.
Let me start: I remember when there was one particular .4 system between two portions of Empire, and "m00" would dump hundreds of cans to lag anyone coming in and gank them endlessly.
CCP sent a fleet of battleships, ran by themselves, to kick their asses. And they had the gall to whine about it!

One more for the road... I remember way back in the day, in Beta, that people didn't know what rats were, and some were even silly enough to think "Angels" were some kind of alien race, in the vein of generic science fiction that uses religious jargon in place of creativity.

There was a time when repair units didn't have that wierd green-glowing-mist sissy lightshow that they do now, which reminds me of every generic fantasy MMO out there with a heal0r class that throws green minty freshness at people to represent healing.
They had no effect, just a very wierd sound, almost like a frog croaking towards a high-speed fan.

Bugged agility sensor dampening blackbird
(edit: for those who don't know, Blackbirds used to handle like frigates.)
