Just for sh!ts n giggles while I have been at work. You really think it could do a mad passive tank now? I know it has alot of hp now, with an equally large recharge time but with 5 shield power relay 2's, and 2-3 shield recharger 2's. It might just be do-able. especially when you factor in the +15% shield hp rigs, and implants.
I would try to do the math here because im borred stiff but i cannot access eve and get the #'s. Any one borred enough to divulge this myth as good or bad?

Passive tanking on a ship that gets a bonus to active tanking doesn't seem like a wise idea to me..

It does? well then I guess my mind has sliped that far. I thought it had the dual bonuses to remote reps. Was this a steath boost ccp just made? cause I have not looked at the ship in a few days now. still think it could do well Passive tank 5 spr2's (just think of how long you would have to wait after a jump )

Me/ looks at my Eos, then looks at its bonusÆs and wonders where I went wrong.
ôstill think it could do well Passive tank 5 spr2's (just think of how long you would have to wait after a jump )ö One very tiny problem, there are no SPR 2Æs. I would go for PDS T2 intread and go for high hitpoints over HP regen.

True but with revelations came a cool deal where you can research for T2 BP's I know a guy who should be getting one anytime now. I hope to see some comin out soon(TM) but even if not the T1 version would make alot of difference with the recharge time. But tbh the minmatar carrier is kinda junkie imo. I dunno if to armour tank it or shield tank it. I'm leaning towards armour so all thoes pretty mid slots are open for other stuff. but what ever it works in ways...
