Why does some contracts disappear that i have bid on? I was under the impression that once the auction was started and the first bid placed, there was nothing the seller could do to cancel it.
Still it have happend to me a couple of times now (last one about 2 hours ago) that an auction which i im bidding on disappears. I get a refund from the auction. ("Auction bid refund" in wallet) And when i search for the auction under contracts; "bid on by me", its just gone.
WTF is going on, im getting mighty ****ed. Cant you trust this glorious new system to function anymore?

Did you know that there is a rough equivilent to EBay's "By it now" feature? If you meat a price preset by the seller, you can buyoutright, butif that doesn't happen the highest bidder wins.
I don't know but this sounds like it might be the case.
but trust me I have problems with the implimentationof the new system too.

Your journal ("contracts" tab) keeps track of auctions upon which you've bid.

I know about the features of contracts. If someone else buyout on an auction you have bid on, you recieve a notification in the journal. ("Auction finished") You can then view the contract to even see who claimed buyout i you wish, before you dismiss it.
This was not the case here, and in one of the cases i even saw the same item put up on a new auctin after the contract had disappeared. (By the same seller in the same location)
Very strange.

It looks like Patch Month Syndrome, there is all the bugs and (IMHO) bad or incomplete implimementations of new features, plus there are a few uncommon bugs that I thought that Revalations would fix and did.
It looks like I am going to have to set aside several days and just make bug reports and do a well thought out log of gamplay issues and report them.
I haven't used those parts of the contract system so I will keep an eye out for them.
Untill then, you might want to make a bug report of your own.
The best instructions are found On this forum post.

Fingers crossed for the patch :)
I'm still waiting for someone to confirm that a contract is visible to them, which is hard work, had a few hiccups with this new system, yet it has potential.. no more opening up a whole all region escrow search is great.
So was there a buyout price on the auction?

This just happened to me on an item I was going to get for around 1/5 of the price - can't help feeling there's some (secret) way for the seller to cancel the auction if they don't like the price the item is going to sell for. Will work to see if I can recreate it at some point. ~

If you bid on something and then somebody else win the aution - either with highest bid when the contract ends or with buyout - you get a refund and you cant find contract any more because it is fulfilled. You dont find it under the "bid on by me" because the contract no longer exist, because its finised. You only see those contracts which are live - no buyout or end date reached. If you know the name of the issuer however, then you can find the contract listed under his name in his finished contract list.
