Good day ladies and gentlemen,
I turn to this place to help me out with a scientific interest of mine. I am doing a study on a sociomusicological phenomenon called "mining songs".
Lately i have interviewed a number of those who pursue the career of deep space mining, and a lot of those interviewed stated they are singing "mining songs" while working.
In order to set up a full database of mining songs and especially mining song lyrics, i'd like to ask you to help me out by posting any and all mining song titles and lyrics you are familiar with.
So far the songs mentioned most often by miners are "Mining in the Belt", "Mine me Tender" and "Mining for Love". Are you aware of any other such songs?

Well when i was mining, nowadays i just hang around stations and drink quafe, i listened to this day in day out. It doesn't have the word "mine" in it but if i can find my own mining songs from the academy days i'll be sure to send them to you.
Here is the Datastream link to the song i listened quite a lot. Makes mining a bit more fun.

Good day again,
Many thanks for Your contributions so far. I have found another song that seems to be quite popular, but unfortunately i cannot find the exact title for it. All i know are the following lines from the chorus
Don't be fooled by the rocks that i got,
im still Miso from the block.
Can anyone name this song for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated and necessary for further studies on the matter.
