Apparently this happens a lot with this guy.

Block button is there for a reason.
The reason he is there is because he knows you won't block him without announcing it in the channel first...

Also, if you report it as a harassment the chatlog will be included when petition is sent. Or at least I think it is - that is what I have heard. And if it is, the moderators will see it, read it, and take appropriate actions, whatever that might be.

No, I assume they answer questions for people, and then every once in a while some moron comes in and yells his heart out about pirates or stabs or nos or whatever and they petition him.

This is a game of all ages. There's no room for people that insist that their 10 year old attitude be forced upon everyone else that is there to help out new players. It's immature and doesn't belong, it's that simple. If you can't understand that then come find me after you hit puberty.

Oh yes I would if they start throwing dirt in my direction. I play to have fun, not for getting abuse.
I have no problems accepting swear words now and then ingame, used when things dont go according to their plans etc. like when someone being shot down. But if people start throwing swear words and abuse at me, and dont stop when I politely ask them to, I would not hesitate a second to report it. I dont get paid taking abuse from strangers.

to those of you taking his side: If i came up to the street and started yelling expletives at you, you're going to do nothing? lol - didn't think so, so why should it be different in-game? The help channel is not for abuse, it's for help.

if the abusive language gets too much for you and it gets too obscene, you can always pertition it to the devs they will do something about it  i know from experiance i lsot me temper with some people once and i got banned from typing in any of the chat windows for a couple of days

guess he wasn't a macro miner then, if he responded in chat for someone stealing his ore. Maybe he just has 4-5 accounts running at the same time...that's not illegal. GM's do a good job at keeping the chat clean. It's just sometimes you need to point it out to them.
