Exactly... gain space, thats the goal... what you do with that space is PvE. This game isn't about the PvP, its about the PvE. I'm glad you finally agree here.

Did this honestly need its own thread?
PvP and PvE are different things, worth different pleasures- but are related. One couldn't exist without the other. Without PvP, PvE is just a really bad, simplistic offline game. Without PvE, PvP is just quake.
Everything put together is what makes EVE great, not any individual part.

PvE allows those that wish to PvP to afford doing so, but PvE is also there because CCP has recognized that killing NPCs is how some of their players value their time.
