What is warp to 0 and how does this help me? I hear it's for "carebears". How does this help someone who doesn't wish to PVP?
Also, how do I get a nifty signature at the bottom of my posts?

warp to 0 is a new implemented feature. You had warp to a station or gate and fly the rest of distance before, closest option to a gate or station was 15km ( autopilot will warp to 15km still)
ıf you attacked at a belt you can warp (remeber to align always) to a station and dock or warp to gate and pass to another system (agressor cant ,have to wait a litle time) or if you attacked at around at staion you can warp to gate and pass another system etc.

Honestly I like PVP and I hear it's pretty robust in EvE. Just wasn't sure how warp to 0 impacted pvp. So it's just an easy way to escape correct?
Still would like some info on the sig thing i see people with nifty pictures ect. Do I make my own and upload it somehow or what?

Your signature can be edited on the left side menu of the website under forums, click on "settings."
The change for warp to 0 is that 15km used to be the closest you could automatically warp to anything, stargates in particular. Then you had to approach the stargate or station before you could dock or jump. If there was a pirate between you and the stargate, you couldnt get to the stargate and jump before he could kill you, usually.
With warp to 0 you end up right on top of the gate, within jump range, so pirates cannot count on that "approaching" time where they can attack targets before the target can jump through the gate.
