Cant Install BPs in POS labs

Gary Hagon Gallente Solitude Empires	Posted - 2006.12.08 17:02:00 - [1] Ive been running pos labs for over 6 months now with no probs and have never had this problem before. Basicly when I try to install A BP for anything copying or ME reserch it just hangs on the getting quote. I am physicly at the station not trying to do it remote. Is there a server problem today or have all my labs suddenly gone wrong,, I have 4 and they were fine yesterday. Is anyone else having trouble today or just me. Any help would be appreciated

Drahcir Nasom Independent Manufacturers	Posted - 2006.12.10 08:41:00 - [8] We sorted our problem, it appears we had a bugged lab module, we couldn't install any BPOs into it from anywhere, but as soon as we tried the BPOs in another module in the same POS they worked fine. We have off-lined and on-lined the offending module but haven't tried it since.

It was like this pre Revelations as well - you see the calculatingquote and nothing happens unless you install the BP with corp role, Scientific Networking and the BP is in corp hanger --- Slot 10 Akemons Modified 'Noble'Zet 5000 implant +8% Armour FREE

I have Scientific Networking at level 3 if that matters. I have a petition open, but no response so far...

There are hundreds of free public slots but nobody can use them. This hurst research corps as well, as not everyone is going to trust their cerb bpo to be put in a corp hanger for research. Artmedis Valben Gallente Lobster of Babel	Posted - 2006.12.13 17:59:00 - [15] As long as the BPO and the POS are in the same system, the mobile labs allow corp/alliance members to use them, and the researchers have station manager, rent research slot and query access to the BPOs, Scientific Networking works perfectly. At level 3 up to 10 jumps away from the system if within the same region. The BPOs need to be in a corp hangar, and all necessary materials need to be at the lab in question. Since alliance members can't have access to your corp hangars, they can not research any BPOs that require materials. Only your corp members can. Since Revelations all labs must be online for jobs to progress. Hopefully one day the labs can be open to public for a configurable fee. But that option has no date for deployment as of yet, although checking once in a while in case of a silent fix might be a good idea. ___________________________________________ Selling BPCs of almost all seeded BPOs. Lobster of Babel currently holds 641 of the 649 Tech 1 BPOs seeded.

The the faster they fix labslots to be used by public, the better.
