The hard sell -
Integrated Takeovers is offering a 3 month training program beginning mid-September.
We offer weekly classes for multiple time zones on a variety of topics to get you better prepared to play EvE.
Whatever play style you have is fine. Are you a carebear? GOOD! Are you a pirate? GREAT! We take everyone from the carebears with claws to the armchair pirates to the pirates no one mentions because they might pod you from behind!
We want to help you be a better YOU! You have a goal and we want to help you achieve it.
We work you through the intricacies of each profession in a clear, concise manner. We make sure all questions are answered and that your journey through EvE is the journey you wish to take.
After the 3 month training program, we will offer you a list of corporations looking for people like you! And we have ALL kinds, from high-sec pirates and carebears, to null-sec and beyond.
Come join a corp that is looking out for you.
Final Intake is September 16th and first classes begin the weekend of the 18th, so hurry and register now!

So yeah, that's happening. To expand a little from the advert, we are offering our services to players and corporations, alike. The fee for this service is currently only the 7.5% corporate tax to help cover corporate expenses.
We offer training in the following vocations:
- Mining & Processing
- Mission Running/Bounty Hunting
- Production and R&D
- PvP & Piracy
- Interplanetary Management
- Trading
- Exploration
For pilots, your only requirements as a student are the ones you make for yourself. The corporations we hire out to supply us with a list of classes they consider required to join. We list the corporations (anonymously) and explain what is required (RE: classes and corp participation) as well as what you can expect, about how far away, in what security and what type of corporation you will be flying with as well as any obtuse rules you should know about prior to joining.
For corporations, send us your newbies now while the price is only a tax on your students and not a cost per student to you!

Seriously though, could you explain how "dedicated to the redistridution [sic] of wealth for the prosperity of all" doesn't read like "All carebear taxes will go to Lord High Archon?"

Well, I don't know where you're reading that and [sic] means it's quoted word for word (as in someone is using slang and/or poor grammar and it's the quoter's job to make sense of it in print). What you did was make up crap.
As far as taxes and the like, you make it sound like we're going to make money hand-over-fist. You do realize that there are costs associated with teaching and the like? We are donating our own personal time where we could be out making much more money than what an entire fleet of week-old characters would make (at 7.5%). The 7.5% tax is used to pay for ships and mods for new students as well as for future expansion (including the giving of skill books).
We are not non-profit.
We are not publicly owned.
We are a private corporation selling a service.
The fact that this service is a taxed rate rather than a flat fee and a taxed rate discounts your argument. Not to mention that I am paying for this out of my own pocket. I don't see where I said we were free, or where I said we wouldn't make money. I noted the rate of taxation and therefore your point is moot.
I am not sure how all this equates to "GIV UZ ALL YER MONEYZ", but you have the right to an opinion on the matter. |
