Abaddon 6MP/2HN - based on a friend's advice, and my preferred version so far
Highs: 6x MP II with MF L, 2x Heavy Diminishing Nos
Mids: Heavy Electrochemical Capacitor Booster (4x 800), Fleeting Warp Scrambler (20km), X5 or Fleeting Web, Sensor Booster II
Lows: LAR II, EANM II, DC (named), 3x T2 hardners (Explosive, Kinetic, Thermic), 1600mm Rolled Tungsten plate
Cargo: 16x 800 cap boost charges, one or two additional sets of crystals
Cap curves are here.
A number of assumptions were made, including the two nos being staggered 50-50, nos being E500 rather than Diminishing (oops!), Energy Management and Controlled Bursts skills being at L4 (sorry, I'm not that pro just yet), all modules being on auto-repeat non-stop, and cap injection commencing 36 seconds into the fight. But in practice, especially if multiple targets are involved, nothing is quite so straightforward.
In any case, at least you can see how long your cap will last as you use up your charges and cap is drained back and forth.
DPS dealt is roughly 378 assuming Large Pulse Spec is only at L4.
Resists are around 78%, DPS tanked is roughly 330 - mediocre, but you have nearly 16k hp of armour and 10k of structure at over 50%.

You can swap a Mega Pulse II for a heavy nos if cap survivability is more important than damage. Your overall cap use is slightly reduced while your cap input is greatly increased so long as enemy cap is available. No other module juggling involved. You can see how your cap curve would rise, as this change has the effect of cancelling one enemy nos.

Alternatively, you can step down to using Dual Heavy Pulse Lasers. Although their damage modifier is lower, with their higher rate of fire and tracking, along with far lower cap use, you will be trading around 14% of your DPS for 23% greater laser cap efficiency. I have not produced a curve for this, but some quick pen and paper calculations suggest that a second LAR II would work, provided you do not rely on running both continuously for any length of time. A dual rep tank would be easily broken by nos, otherwise it is more or less cap-neutral for as long as your cap charges last.
Other possibilities
- I tried modelling probably every possible way of combining 2x nos and 1x neut, but even with a single rep tank, any such setup is suicidal if you are double-nossed and need to live longer than around three minutes. It would be devastating against a target without nos, though.
- Energized passive hardners - a nice idea, but the lower cap dependency is not really worth the reduced resistances (assuming you are using T2, not faction). Without cap, your guns won't be firing, so the passive resists are probably only useful on an 800mm AC setup.
- A second 1600mm plate is down to personal taste, you may not really need that damage control, but this is a sacrifice only worth making if you don't mind being a stationary gun platform. I hate aligning to warp with two plates.
- Other EW can be fitted if you have tacklers, but with a base scan resolution of 85mm, you will really need a good sensor booster.
Heat Sink II
I have come to the conclusion that people who complain about their cap running out in two minutes, are trying to fit one or more of this module. This is not an Armageddon. I repeat: This is not an Armageddon.
