Has anyone thought about branching away from the "Vaga"cane fitting and tried using arties? I cant imagine CCP would release the Hurricane with the intent of it being the platform for an exact vaga fitting. Any thoughts or fitting suggestions?

most teir two ship setups tend to be pvp set ups so normaly it is close range, matar have speedy ships so it's a basic outlook, close gund with enough track to hit while moving really fast

I'd love to be able to fit one out with 720's but I'm afraid it would be a paper tiger.

Plenty of ppl have though about it and done it. 650s are probably the best you can do and still have any form of tank. The dmg is nice though, I have moderate/poor skills besides BC5 and get 10x+ dmg mod at 5.45 rof.

Would hit pretty damm hard though!
Plan on setting one up in another week or so (after client stops acting up and i can ferry a couple more down to 0.0)

that with Quake ammo in midst of small gang in complex run, and i tried using 3x gyro II along with 3x TC II and i realise i could boost the dmg of 720 by 33% with improvement in skill...so could reach 1500+ onward and i test it on corpmate and it shot his gallente BC tier 2 shield to half way in optimal range with 1 volley so 3K dmg done in one volley is nasty plus i havent got BC lvl 5 so expect 10% more ROF on that setup along with rigs so god know it can be effective cruiser buster or BC! then again no tank

When it lost its 7th turret I lost interest in arty fitting tbh, even if it is 2 turrets (and 50% more damage) than a Rupture its a big difference in price.
