Im still waiting for my bootie call to arrive so im posting another question (lies)
in order for me
1. Forum pvp/trolling. The Goons are terrible at this although they can just swamp and kill a thread with random words. but there are some good ones out there
2. Ninja PvP. Nothing and i mean nothing beats fly through enemy territory making a kill and getting out before anyone knows you were there.
3. market PvP. very very brutal and you are up against Bots/ people with no life who can update 200 buy orders one after another for 12+ hours a day
4. asteroid PvP. I always win but i never feel ive achieved anything :(

1. Forum is more intelligent than Salvo/ Goons suck indeed, good for us they have their own forums for sharing this.
2. Stealing loot, random finishing moves.
3. One on one fights with matching opponents.
4. Small group patrol, Small gang on gang fight. Small gang vs single large object.
5. Suicide gank, totally unsuspecting victim
PvP that I hate:
0. Gatecamping
1. Blobs
2. Superior, outnumbering force vs 1
3. Superior, outnumbering force vs smaller fleet.
4. Stupid 4-4 gankers, laggers, container spammers and random glitch ****

Solo PvP, and by solo I mean 1 guy against me, my falcon alt and my tengu booster alt thats cloaked up safe, and also occasionally a logi alt

Definately market pvp as my first choice. There are other aspects of the game that can be fun like exploration and such but market for sure.
Second would be mining. Mostly so I can make stuff for the market pvp.
Third would be rescue pvp. Can't stand the a**hats that think other people have to play their style of game. Their the first to yell how it's a sand box but demand teh play style gets on railroad tracks to pasify their delicate egos. Null sec it too "easy mode" a game style. I like some challenge. |

Personally I love the Node crashing lagfest 800+ man battles (and no I'm not trolling). Any PvP that has strategic value and imminent consequences is fun. Blowing stuff up just to blow stuff up is less fun. More FIGHTS less ganks IMHO.
Edit - I should stress the point that I could give a **** about killboard stats or even living through the fight. Just gimmie epic world shaping pvp and I'm happy. |
