For how long are we Immortal Infantry going to be regarded as a blight on humanity..? What do we have to do in order to gain our Freedom? Every day I hear the constant bickering about the rights of humans and this whole debacle on slavery in the Empire but there isn't much support for our rights, is there?
It must be incredibly liberating to be a capsuleer; to go where you please. I land on a planet and I'm restricted by kill-zones in which my body will simply drop dead if I try to leave the outlined engagement zone. The only real freedom we have is in the desolate wastes of Molden Heath which is a constant fight - seriously, I had my head cut off while I was reading a news report on Eliaron Idama nearly being wasted by a bomb. Even then we were only ever really allowed into the region because the the Thukker basically shouldered us with the responsibility of policing the place after the Republic Command high-tailed it out of there. Some 'freedom'.
Not that I think anyone truly cares but I think this fifth event is in correlation to we Immortal Infantry. We've never been welcome. Anywhere. We're allowed out of our little cages to fight for the Empires and do their bidding with the vague sense of freedom and reward but it's all just operant conditioning, isn't it? We get the 'choice' to fight for who we please, to take on those contracts for the warring corporations but we're still just prisoners with guns.
I've died well over 12,000 times now, and that's playing it safe more times than not. Out of my entire Brigade when I was first part of Mordu's Mercenaries, I'm probably one of the ones that has died the least and is still active. The rest of them... Heh, brazen, to say the least. I digress. My point is: How many times do I have to die for the Federation, the Empire, the State, and the Republic before the key to unlock my freedom is given to me and I'm allowed out of this hell?
What I wouldn't give to go home without being obligated into a contract to do so.
(This character is the Eve version of Aeon Amadi since there is no cross-forum support)

Mr. Amadii, we should speak some time. Privately. I have some interest in your circumstances.
