conversely, ISS needs a good kicking, but I doubt your info is correct, or that IAC would deal the first blow.

Or maybe this whole thing is an ploy derived by priory to feed both sides false intelligence via spys so that ISS and IAC would start shooting at each other.
But alas this only came from the same news source as the OP's. Or maybe this whole thing is an ploy derived by priory to feed both sides false intelligence via spys so that ISS and IAC would start shooting at each other.

Lets clarify, ISS leadership continually has told IAC we're not friends, we're neutral. Apparently we were mistaken that ISS saw IAC as an ally and that we shouldn't count on them.
To dispute the army of alts post in this thread,
Timeline of Events:
- We received intel during the week that ISS planned on shooting IAC shortly - IAC pilots were publically warned to remove assets from ISS stations incase it broke out - Saturday, 96+ ISSN pilots have arrived in ZXIC - ISSN pilots locking IAC pilots travelling through systems - 6 Additional POS towers were anchored in the neighbouring ISS outpost system. - No less than 4 ISS cov ops pilots were flying around the IAC outpost system. - ISSN Recon pilots camped bordering gates - 55+ FIX pilots camped IAC's systems for over 2 hours today
No IAC army has been raised, no call to arms, no alarm bells sounded.
We're assessing the situtation and are obviously concerned.

You know we don't make politically alliances and we are friendly to neutrals. And we would be on better terms if both our alliances could maintain mutual positive standings without incidents of friendlyfire popping up all the time. You know that we want to be on friendly terms with IAC but I've been told in diplomatic talks with your alliance that the IAC memberbase aren't fond of ISS.
ISS does desire to be on friendly terms with our neighbours in IAC, but mutually friendly terms. If that's what you want and if both our alliances can hold up to it reasonably well, all it takes is some diplomatic discussion and a bit of time.
Quote:
Timeline of Events: - We received intel during the week that ISS planned on shooting IAC shortly
That can't be a co-incidence. We recieved intel during the week that someone (possibly IAC) planned on taking Marginis and Tycho outposts this weekend. If you can't publicly reveal where that intel came from, could we chat in-game about it? It's entirely possible that someone is playing IAC and ISS against each other. Not to get tinfoil-hatty or anything but we do need to discuss it and compare notes to get a better idea of what's going on.
Quote:
- Saturday, 96+ ISSN pilots have arrived in ZXIC
This isn't anything to do with IAC, though. We have mobilised forces for completely separate reasons that should become clear by this evening. And given the intel we recieved, doesn't moving ISSN down there make sense?
Quote:
- ISSN pilots locking IAC pilots travelling through systems
This, I haven't a clue about. I'm being told that no official word was ever given to lock IAC pilots and we have been down the "you locked me first" road with The Priory before when they were in IAC, if I recall some diplomatic talks we had with IAC correctly.
Quote:
- 6 Additional POS towers were anchored in the neighbouring ISS outpost system.
As was said above, we recieved intel that someone was planning on taking tycho and marginis this weekend and are making preparations in case it's true.
Quote:
- No less than 4 ISS cov ops pilots were flying around the IAC outpost system. - ISSN Recon pilots camped bordering gates
This is something you'd need to discuss with Count TaSessine, I think. We don't have a policy of making all our military moves public knowledge (nobody does) but rest assured there are legitimate and good reasons behind everything ISSN does. We're not a secretive alliance. Let's face it, how could we be secretive when there are probably spies all through the alliance? ^^;
Quote:
- 55+ FIX pilots camped IAC's systems for over 2 hours today
I'm a little lost. How does this factor in? ISS and FIX are two completely different alliances.
Quote:
No IAC army has been raised, no call to arms, no alarm bells sounded.
We're assessing the situation and are obviously concerned.
If that's genuinely true, we need your alliance leaders and ours in a convo to discuss this. I'm not sure when Count TaSessine gets online.
I can assure you of this, though. ISS is peaceful but will defend ourselves and our assets when they come under direct threat. We don't want a war between ISS and IAC and if your management also does not want a war, there should never be a war. The ball is squarely in the IAC court because if we are to war with someone, it will be because they declared it, not the other way around. We will not start a fight, but we'll be damned if we won't finish it.
I'll convo you in-game since I appear to be the only management person online besides the ISSN FC.

Dear n sx
Let me make it clear that ISS have no intentions of going to war against IAC. Our alliances have been friends ever since IAC put up its first outpost (which we actively supported). I noticed you posted some thoughts on the developments of our relations in another thread. I will answer that post asap.

It strikes me as quite interesting that only when you percieve your assets to be threatened you choose to address the concerns of the public, on behalf of your shareholders. Once again, your disregard for anything non-critical and IAC becomes obvious.
Thanks for the clarification, though from past experiences, I will choose to believe it entirely when your army and cov ops pilots have moved out of IAC's systems.

It shows that there people trying to corse Trouble between ISS and IAC. Now ISS wouldnt attack IAC because there not a pvp alliance but industry. IAC good on there pvp and manage to hold out some good attacks but really there no reason for both to be at war.
I hope not tho two good alliance and hope to do some work down there soon

ISS would never go to war with an alliance in such a fashion.
IAC have made it clear they have other interests (killing MC + LV). I seriously doubt IAC is going to fight a war on two fronts. TBH, I think IAC and ISS have a really good symbiotic relationship and both support eachother really well.

Are you trying to position IAC so that war is inevitable?
You rant and rave with no substance in your posts.
You claim ISS backstabbed you and are not neutral because they let MC dock while they seiged your systems. What utter crap. ISS are blue both to MC and IAC.
Are they supposed to set MC to red and deny them docking rights just because you say so?
To be perfectly honest, you strike me as a light-headed prima donna with very little grasp on the reality of the situation. You are a war monger, and your excuses for war are weak at best.
Don't think we can't see though your charade, its blindingly obvious.

When I've got something to say, I say it.
Between you, Magz, and Murk trolling these ISS threads, you'd be forgiven for thinking you represented public opinion in EVE. You don't. Most people do not share your outlandish views.
You are trying your best to position ISS/IAC for a war, for your own amusement. Anyone with a brain cell can see that for what it is.

Edited by: Entilzah Valen on 10/12/2006 17:50:35 Let me spell one thing out for you,
ISS is not an "ally". They are not "military partners".
ISS is an organization that revolves around its stations. Those stations are publicly open to everyone who hasn't been aggressive with ISS, or been able to reasolve their issues.
If you need any clarification as to what ISS's actions will be, look at their charter.
Why you expect them to come to your aid 23/7 when the **** hits your fan, is beyond me.
Your paranoia can only get you in trouble from here on out.
And as far as that 55+ FIX gang, you paid us a visit earlier that day, so we paid you a visit. Mayhem abound. _________________________________________________________
