hi, i just read in a post here that you can use Logitech G15. I was wondering if the people who use it can tell me if you can use the keyboard to macro a keybutton to 'attack target' for my drones and 'return to bay' . Or does it only work on keystrokes?

You can't use stored keystroke sequences to give you an in-game advantage - see EULA, and as far as I am aware, this would apply to hardware as well.
That said, any n52 users able to confirm that it runs alongside the keyboard when plugged into a second USB port?

Only keystrokes and combos of them. It [G15] does not feature a mouse input.

For better or worse, CCP are happy with people using the G15. If you do a search you'll find this topic has come up before.

No it will not!
There have been numerous posts regarding this from Devs, Keiron and several ISD members.
You can use it.

Eris: "The keyboards are allowed."
Unattended macros are another matter entirely though.

If you want a definitive answer petition, but I imagine that they're not going to discriminate by manufacturer, as long as you have to be present to use it I guess.

Cheers, that's what I was after. The n52 is mentioned on the second page, so I take that as a green light.

Logitech G15 is also supported by the EVEMon character 3rd party program.
It displays your toon's current skill and time to completion on the G15's LCD and is really rather dapper

OK, then what about the n52?
the n51 reminds me a bit of a 1 handed keyboard in the early to mid 80s designed for Personal assistants, and court room typists, it used combinations of keystrokes to get words and phrases etc.
