Ever since the introduction of the Fleet setup and changes to the gangs, I can't seem to get Mining Foreman bonus to work. Is there some other skill I have to train up for it to work now?
I have:
Leadership 2
Mining Foreman 4
All the new gang options confuse me. Thanks in advance!

Create gang. Right-click on the gang text below overview and choose convert to fleet. Move yourself to Squad Commander for squad 1. Now they work.
You can only keep leadership times 2 members in your squad and still have the gang bonuses working. So with your current skills, 4 pilots including yourself.

If you want to affect a big number of people with a gang bonus but don't want to train Fleet Command, just train Wing Command a couple of levels and demote yourself to a Wing Commander when you form a fleet. Then just put everyone else in squads under your command. You don't actually need a fleet commander in your fleet!

Took us a while to figure this out but say your having a big mining op, for example 20-30 people.
10 players is the max number in a single squad
So....
What you need is this, a Wing commander with wing commander skill trained to L3, this guy is the mining foreman.
In each squad you HAVE to have a squad commander with leadership L5 for the Wing Commanders bonus to pass down to the squads.
Also I think Members must be on the same grid.
Try it out.
