Im wondering if you accept a courier contract to a null system station (not a pos) if your allowed to dock since you have accepted a contract to that location. Or if its a scam to contract something to a station that does not allow rights for neutrals to dock. |

Depends on a few things. Years ago, before CCP added the warning for low sec and player owned stations it was more likely to be a scam. Nowadays it may be a legit contract.
There is also the distinction between null sec stations that are NPC owned, e.g. Syndicate or Ore Ring and other pockets in null sec; there are also freeports and Providence has player owned stations that would fall into that category. Finally there are station that are owned by sov holders that would typically not let anyone dock unless they had positive standings to the owner.
Even in the last case the contract could be legit.
Generally it would not be advisable to accept a courier contract unless you are certain that you can dock at the destination (and get there safely as well, of course).
You can also look at the contract history of the person or corp making the contract. Show Info then use the drop down in the top left corner and go to Show Contracts, look for failed contracts. This is an indication not a guaranteed method of spotting 'bait' contracts. |

TBH I see no reason to consider accepting a contract into null unless you understand the dynamics of the destination and are blue to the sov holders there AND to any other significant entities there.
Shoot everyone. Let the Saviour sort it out.

I would recommend, if you really want to do those contract/s, in contacted the contractor privately (probably with an alt to the hauler) and make an arrangement for the contract.
Do not use your cyno/acout alt to contact them. Do not use you hauling alt to contact them. Make sure you can dock there first.
Some will be scams (usually the really high colat ones and the ones that are too good to be true) - as the giuys above said, check their history, and maybe contact some one that has hauled for them before (if you wanna be extra safe).
Many will not be scams, and people will choose public stations to get their shipments moved. (I would say most fall into this category).
NEVER EVER EVER ACCEPT THEM TO CYNO YOU IN.....
Cheers.
Who the hell is this Tupac guy.... And what would he know?

Definitely what everyone said above.
If you're looking for general information on this, the best I can offer is go in assuming they're trying to gank you and know the game mechanics better than they do.

The only thing that changes is who "they" are. |
