On the same note here guys, hats off to the Corporation Alliance who allowed us the same leeway in retrieving disappeared drones.
Congrats BoB on an excellent setup and strategy. And may the Best team win the Finals.
Good luck to bioth teams

Yes will do Nebula Rasa Team Danton Marcellus (old man) 50m sps Revan Halendon (unfortunatly had a university project and could not fly in the final rounds ) <30m Arx Yarzinth( was a team memebr but could not make any matches due to RL ) <30m Leumas Ebmocnud 25m Andor Traxel 19.9m Venere teole 7.4m Michi Ken 7.4m
Not a single member of the team has cybernetics 5 and only two had partial low grade slaves.
Implants are so overpowered Not!!!
Congrats to the Nebula team way to come together and show your mettle against the best of the best! Maybe next time we will be able to practice once or twice :) So get off the Waambulance about high grade sets and sps', and make it happen if you think you have what it takes.

We always do to those that deserve it, and there is no disputing the facts that Nebula Rasa do beyond reproach.
Innovative to say the least, and after seeing their first match with the 4 Navy Vexor's fielded i made a point of going out of my way to see everyone of their matches.
Kudos

Amazing sportsmanship. I do wonder how many other teams would have allowed the same leaway for their opposition, especially if their opposition was BoB.
I believe you have been announced Miss congeniality of the tournament!
Cheers Cam

I'm sad that I couldn't help the team today, but I couldn't be more proud of them It's an honour to fly alongside them.
Respect for every team we fought, the matches were all great. A excellent tournament.

No, he didn't "forget" them, they were loaded. When he logged back in, the charges were empty.
GG to Nebula Rasa, but your facts are incorrect.
I was the BOB team's Eos pilot...
When I got transported from my station in empire space to the tournament system, I noticed I could not activate my sensorbooster and armor hardener. They were NOT offline (at least, didn't show as such! pic1, pic2 but they still reported as such... i.e. bug. It was not a matter of human error, there was nothing I could do about it.
Then, the dev's said I didn't have enough CPU on my ship to fit my setup, but it fitted fine, with lots of spare cpu and powergrid. Apparently my character's skills were not applying to anything.
The dev's somehow "reloaded" my ship, as suddenly all mods disappeared/reappeared and the sensorbooster + armorhardener now worked, but the remote repairer and 3 of my guns were now offline. Wtf, I ask thee?
Then, all my mods were removed from my ship... and after a while I got transported to a station, and I was asked to re-log. Upon logging back in, I got stuck in a jumpqueue :| Then, about 5 minutes later, when i finally got back into the game, my mods were on my ship again but the guns + capbooster were empty. So lemonde transported me back into the arena and spawned a container with the ammo + cap charge I lost, and finally things could get underway.
Like I said in game already... thanks for the patience and sportsmanship Nebula Rasa. I wish it could have gone smooth straight away, but there was nothing i could do about this.

Its no problem, i don`t think your sincerity was ever in doubt.
What i find most odd is how unusual some people find sportsmanship, and i suppose this is a case in point. Its better to lose honourably than to win through exploit; lets you sleep better at night lol
Cheers and i`m sure we`ll be back next year, although i suspect the Navy Vexor setup may have to be knocked on the head lol

It matters little if others would have done the same. It matters that you did when the occasion arose. And that deserves all the praise you recieve.

Yeah I said that I think, when I thought only 1 web per team and no huginn would be allowed.
Huginn/Rapier + multiple webs being allowed changes everything, it affects all non-damp-vulnerable close range strategies. Vs. a 2-3 sensorboosters + close range fitted team, dampeners would only buy you a minute or so, while the opponents close in on you and get a lock, after that they'd be wasted midslots, apart from protecting your drones. But with huginn allowed, close range setups = liability (see ascn) unless you got an anti-Huginn counter worked into your strategy. Which meant in order to be huginn-proof you needed either a curse or a lachesis, and I'm not even sure if the latter would be enough to dampen a 2 sensorbooster huginn below 25km (heavy nos range).
