3rd time win in a row.
Glad to see all the hours spent on the tournament paid off. The hardest thing is understanding the way the opposing team thinks. Most common error was that I expected a complete different setup on ships since other people obviously think in a different, not necessarily bad way.
We had no assault ships prepared at all, in case of a draw. Simply didn't expect it.
We knew what ships we could fly, we had to win. There had to be a way to win, so went searching for it and found it.

The people on the BoB team, for excellent teamwork.
Juan Andalusian, for helping to find weaknesses in setups.
Farjung, for our respresentation on EveTV!
EveTV, for giving everyone the opportunity to watch the tournament and make it more popular.

Good show. I enjoyed the setup that went into the finals more than the group stage setup. I'm sure you had your reasons to field the first setup in the group stages, though. :)
Now give us back Mogley :(

In the final match. Did you just bet on the opposition using the same setup, and based on that, proceed to fit a heap of tracking disruptors?
When looking at the match and seeing how long it took the opposition to take down the Baahlogorns shield, I felt the match was kinda over for The Ronin before it even began.
...Anyways, congrats.

You can already see those stats ingame by looking up the info on tempest then going to the variations tab and then clicking the storm's info from there. Unless you mean stats of one with char skills applied... that I would be interested in.
{edit}They basically have 2x the hp and drone bat then regular tempests. About 20km faster and can mount 8 turrets plus get 1 more mid and low slot. Pw and cpu is better as well and better sensors

Likewise, only 2 people in our team could actually even fly assault frigs so had it been a draw, we would have to win 2-0 or forefit.
I couldn't believe what the teams brought out against BOB in the last 2 matches, thinking to myself if it was us we would have pwned them (the other teams). So close and yet so far.
I think the tournament has really proved that although small alliances can take part now, your REALLY need the flexibility to change setups. Have 50 mil PS chars who are specialised in 3 things is really helpful. And ofc, halo implants are 4tw when doing dampening battles! Crazy stuff.

we spent 2 night testing our setups and even then we didnt have all team members there.. i imagine alot of teams were like this.. we also had ALOT of rl problems with ppl no able to make it...
thats the difference between bob and the rest of us, they have determination and dedication for things like this and therefor deserve to keep winning it and will keep winning it untill maybe we all take it a bit more serious.

Congrats.
Although I pretty much knew what was coming up for finals(hi market division) it was very enjoyable to watch whole masterplan revealing.
Also I liked this tournament much more than previous 2 as it was much more open and different teams fielding different ships with different tactics really brought it on higher level.

The BoB model is bad for business. Incidently the BoB model is more suited for a game such as WoW where as the ASCN model more suited for Eve.
