im in the midst of my 14 day trial. is revalations what eve is now or is it just an area? are there more downloads when i sign up.

Revelations is what EVE is now, yes. It's not an area, but rather the name of the most recent bulky patch, which tends to "rename" the game in a way.

EVE "Expansions" are basically just free content patches, rather than expansions like in most other games. Everyone gets the same thing when it comes out, trial or full account.

Indeed. To clarify, you're never in a situation where someone else has bought "Space Ruins of Coonark" and you can't fly into the "Nebula of Ill Omen" because you didn't order the expansion. Everyone has full access to all content once they are paying...some ships and skills can't be used by trial accounts, but that's not a deal breaker.

Thank god we don't have that area. Bookmarks don't hold a candle to the toll all the whining about kill salvaging you would get THERE would put on the server *shudders*!
