I found that you need to keep restarting till it jags a start.... But then its a 30-45 min wait... at the worst DL speed I've got since dialup There is no such thing as a fair fight... I deleted the Eve Online app, and reinstalled an older dmg from early Aug. Then updated from that. Had no luck when updating from yesterday's version.

Tried running the repair tool, which needed an update, it deleted the old EXE, downloaded the new one, but left it named "repair.exe_zvdmtr" Renaming it to repair.exe allows it to run, but it reports that everything is fixed and working after only about 30 seconds of running.

Launching the ExeFile directly gives an Unable to connect to 87.237.38.200 on port 26000 error in the client. Not a version mismatch error. Guessing there's connection issues between us and them at the moment.

Hmm, sorry to hear that. It worked for me first time. Whenever the launcher craps out (which it does far too often) switching the language usually fixes it for me.

For a paid subscription game the client should work and the game should play without having to employ "tricks". Very frustrating.
