So here's my plan:
Find a WH with a static to HS that has planets I need, park a scanner alt in it, scan down the static when it's time to deliver my goods. Rinse/repeat.
I don't plan on getting permission from any of the corps that may be in the hole as PI is pretty much defended by game mechanics.
Am I an idiot? Any feedback would be helpful. |

The corp who owns the pocos will see the tax payments in their wallet. Interbus pocos (of which few remain) or planrtary launch (which limits your production greatly) are the ways around this. You would probably be better off making a deal with the poco owners. Try looking in c1's. |

The tax rates as a neutral will be pretty high (if you are allowed access at all). |

If the wh is empty you could try bluffing: Contact the POCO owners and tell them that you are too lazy to take down their POCOs and would only do so if the tax rate is unreasonable. Propose something around 3%. |

I do have an alt that can solo bash a POCO but I don't want to sit and spam D-scan for 8 hours. Given me some stuff to ponder. Thanks. |

Pi is aids, if you can bash a poco you can do sites, if you solo c3 you can get a month's worth of PI in 3 to 4 hours, less if you're good at it. |

pretty sure last time we caught a guy doing that we ended ambushing and blabbing him and his alt along with setting the out of corp tax rate on our pocos to something stupid |

Ninja PI isn't worth the effort and if the hole you find with low poco tax is active then you can expect to lose more than you make. Just find a group wiling to let you run PI out of their hole. There are plenty that will.

After everything being said, my alt has been living in a hole in a Wreathe doing PI for about 4-5 months now. I just re-subbed, so output is a little low - around 6k Tier 3 or so of each. He used to have a mobile depot, but not really necessary - and has long turned into space dust.
Its amazing how much "junk" there is in a WH - a C3 anyway. Amusing to watch POS's get torn down, and replaced, then abandoned. Its like watching a National Geographic "circle of life" on fast forward sometimes. For the most part people are more interested in the sites in a C3, then PI.
The POCOS can be a problem. I haven't gotten to the POCOS bashing phase yet - but planning on it. Meanwhile I just searched holes until I find one with a zero tax.
So yeah - search holes until you find one with no/low traffic, and zero tax.
