Im trying to remove some members from my corp but i keep getting this message :-
You have been denied access for the following reason: You cannot expel this member as they are currently in space..
Yet they are all docked in the same station as me.
I have waited the mandatory 24 hours for role removal and have tried with other directors as well but cant seem to kick them out.
Is this a known issue or have i missed something out?

Check the map out and see if they loged out in space. They may be insystem but not docked.
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter pirate or mixture of them all.

They are defo docked - im staring at them in the same station.
It is an outpost tho - could that be the problem?

Ok try to "vote" them out...My old corp had 1-2 year vets that had not played in 1-2 years...Had to vote them out.

Your saying they are loged in? And you cant boot them?

surprisingly its a bug that the devs know about but wont fix what we need to avoid exploits by CEOs on flagging issues is say for a 24 hour timer if they rae in space CEO hits expel from corp then an options if they are logged off in space ( alt spies use this to avoid being expelled from the corp they stay in space) an option expel member in space - a 12 hour timer once that timer is up they are automatically expelled
The other option is to petition it - there are one or two GM that are thick as bricks for some reason and wont do it but most of the others will do it as long as their roles and the 24 hour timer there are up and all other conditions are met.
File it under exploit as the member in space is using a bug - exploit to avoid being removed from corp - it will be fixed pretty quick and if u hit a dumb dumb GM who isnt quite aware that they can do it ask for elevation to a senior GM. Oveur or kieron or one of them at senior GM level will overrule and fix

wouldnt voting them out take another 24 hours?
we need them out the corp like yesterday for certain reasons.
Hence im starting to get a little agity.

Remove titles, and roles. Ban them from corp TS/Vent server. And petition. Also further security would be establish new corp chat channel and set to invite only.
If they were out in space I would say probe them out...and pod them back into a station. Then boot...

btw for clarification they are all DOCKED and ONLINE and had ALL roles removed over 24 hours ago.
Still cant expel them but have filed a petition now.
