Before Kali we were told there would be some way to scan cloaked ships, the implication that you'd probably never land right on top of them.
Has there been any progress on this front, and are we likely to see it before Kali 2?

Never Mahhaaasaa , us cov/ops flyers shouldnt be able to be detected, thats why we have cloaks to hide, not just casue another pretty graphic to happen to our ship.

And the point to buying a cloak would be? The only thing I have ever seen about anti-cloaking measures was stuff to prevent cloakers sneaking up on you. Which of course would nullify 90% of the use of anything above proto cloak. I don't think you trust, in, my, self-righteous suicide. |

Why not? They already nerf your ship.

it would be a very small % chance of finding a cloaked ship or giving u a 200km window of error - it woudl force the cloaked ship to keep moving around also ( covert ops can warp around without uncloaking) basically u lazy types that sit there afk all day would be taking a risk.

The next time a cov. ops guy warns me of a gate camp up ahead while I'm hauling around all my expensive stuff, I'll be sure and call him lazy.

Covert ops ships with Covert ops cloaks should be absolutely undetectable. With that being said...
Non covert ops ships with standard cloaks should be possible to find. For example:
Prototype Cloaking device I (50% reduction in Sensor Strenght) -- Example: Standard Raven has 22 points of Gravimetric, with cloak active it would have 11 (What a standard Frigate has)
Improved Cloaking Device II (85% reduction in Sensor Strength)
In other words, the better the cloak and cloaking capabilities the harder the ship is to find.

Stick a backup array on a friends covert and go nutz trying to probe him out....cloaked or not. Covert/recon pilots already have this beat.
