a record for me 17 - CCP why not put this patch in NOW instead of waiting for dt

lots of reasons why EVE would suddenly CTD on you. Most of which are client side, and not connected to the client or server in any way, but to the PC its installed on.
Me? Bah, I've got bad ram tat causes Windows to crash, let alone EVE.
But here's the thing:
I've never had EVE CTD on me yet, whilst WMP is a confirmed PC-crasher for me.

I think I've had one CTD in my 4-5 months of playing EVE... But I've known several people who CTD when the undock, when they jump, when they dock... etc (you get the idea)
I run eve on a laptop that is barely able to handle the game, so I'm going to say it might be client side for you

and what makes you so shure that its Tranquility causing this?
There are alot of variables between your keyboard and the Tranquility server that can cause this problem.

if your getting 17 CTD's, THE PROBLEM IS YOU NOT CCP.

lol noobs a few points - up till now no issues ive run the ping program as well as using SISI today ( stable as a rock) versus TQ laggy as heck oh and about 5000 other ppl having regular CTDs due to the jita and CPU usage problem at CCPs end thats why its not my end rofl

Unstable node = CTD without any 'connection loss' or any other error messages. Welcome to eve post kali/rmr.

thats the one exiled no connection lost or nothing just cuts straight out of game ( another reasons its not my PC) usually when i goto jump etc ( did CCP remove the jump queues and this is the result) bring back the queues then youre dead either way
or better still work on more nodes - 100% remove tiral accounts it seems with the sudden rush of players that ppl are paying anyway.
Just do something anything to make this work before pushing on with the rapid growth story

Miss Overlord, how about you try deleting the EVE/cache/Browser/Img folder everytime you log in, lots of us CTD every 5 minutes and that's the only way to fix it.
You could also set affinity to dual core if you have one, but for me the top trick works just fine.

just found something to bypass lag tried to download SISI patch ( the patch going in later today 28296) and accidently logged onto TQ and guess what was able to play and lag has mysteriously disappaered - dunno if hte other changes are thro i think that is all server side but did someone at CCP stuff up anyway if u want to reduce lag create a 2nd installation download the SISI patch and log into TQ

I've been playing Eve for 2 years, and I have never CTD'd. If I do get kicked to my desktop, it's just because I get dropped from the node, but in no way has the game crashed.
