Why dont the forums mods do something usefull and lock/edit these type of posts. It could be legit although it could be a keylogger

Yep that address is the official patch hosting address.
But I would still advise people not to bother patching yet until the server is up and stable, or if you do make a copy of your current install first and connect with that one. Then patch the normal build when you are sure it will not be rolled back. Saves redownloading the client again.

No this is the official patches page, this could well be a malware program.
Never download from anywhere other than directly from that page of from the client itself.

That is the page where they post links.
Now look at the info for the links and compare the address where the actual file is stored. Two different addresses.
Edit: In short he posted a direct link to the file, not a link to a page which has the same link on it.

Besides the CCP in the line i aint seeing no proof of original site.
according to my knowledge that shouldd be eve-files something ..
Better post a link to the OFFICIAL patch page on eve-online next time chap.

I would recommend you always click the link from the patches page or use the auto patcher, which by the way, should be working.
The server is not up at the last point I heard though.
