I got up at 6am on a saturday morning to make sure I was ready to go watch the amarr cerimony.
Then I travel all the way there. Then I'm confronted with a stuck character, black screen and a board full of angry people. But I say to myself, try and think positive things. Try and give CCP the benefit of the doubt. And try and spin a little humor into the whole thing...
And mostly, I tried to be patient and understanding.
Now I've been moved to a remote system, with no information, and a little news blip that says the ceremony is now private and I'm not welcome.
I seriously hope that this isn't your final solution to the problems I experienced...
That would be seriously dissapointing.

You might be glad you are out of the system, last I heard it was a warzone in there.
People found another event to try by the sounds of it and perhaps not one CCP had imagined.

That makes eve pretty much like mIRC. You can download it here.
I traveled 60+ jumps just to join my first EVE event. But that was a nice experience, reminded me what kind of game Im playing.

somehow reading Chamberlain Karsoth talk about atoms and cells and destiny in the channel doesn't quite get me tingly inside like sitting in a system sourrounded by enemies all under truce gathered for a sacred event...and perhaps a little surprise as well?
once again, an exciting expectation has been replaced with a bad taste in my mouth...

another promise broken, another crumb of content denied...
I find it ironic that the only piece of content that I've even remotely been involved with ends up being the fact that I've been fed CRAP by the Caldari...
It's just simply unbelievable

tbh events are a bonus, I didn't really care if it happened or not. my fun is created by myself and made by the driving fact I want to be good at this game. it makes it fun :P

you're one of the few who don't get bored with mining and all the other boring tasks in eve. congrats. here's a cookie. ccp crippled most pvp stuff, so i don't see how anyone can stay entertained with it.
