Hey there. I'm a bit unsure of why the Enyo is the PvE AF, and the Ishkur is the PvP one. Now don't get me wrong, I understand why Ishkur is good at PvP as it can rely on the drones for DPS and such, but why is the Enyo no good for PvP. I have the small railgun to 5 and could get t2 blasters in no time, so, why not? Comments? --

Its basically a Wolf that uses railguns... sure it has its uses, but the Jaguar/Ishkur just kicks soooo much more ass. --- Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. - Emerson |

QFT - the holy trinity for solo PVP is AB/MWD, web & scram. With only two mids, you have to make a sacrifice. At least it's not the retribution, with only one mid *shudder*
In gang PVP, the enyo makes a great damage dealer - I'm pretty sure it was a fairly popular frigate in the last alliance tournaments. -- I like cheese. |

who says the enyo is no good in pvp?
neutron enyo puts out some serious dmg for an af. ok they lack the number of drones of the ishkur but it is still very effective.

the enyo kicks ass in pvp. i fly only enyos right now and im having major fun. they're perfect for gang pvp and decent in solo pvp(mwd + warp jammer = all you need).
my corp mate in a wolf with better skills just couldnt tank the dmg of my 4 light ion blasters + hobgoblin. seriously the enyo deals heavy dmg at close range and can be fitted for long range as well.

for wolf packs enyo is actually better suited for the damage roll than ishkur due to direct damage.
My pref is 20k warpscram sensor booster 2 arm tank low and 4 tech2 150 or 125 hybrids.

/me sells his Ishkur.
Wow, thanks for these great responses. I was always under the impression that Enyo was just a no no in PvP. That's great news to hear that it is absolutely capable in wolfpacks, as I'm obviously in an alliance and most likely will rarely be flying solo. Since I'm going for t2 large rails, I'll have small rail spec. to 4 anyway, so it makes sense to jump in this AF since I have gallente frig 5 anyway (caldari spec. though). Another question. I know Blasters are the damage dealers. And I know they are very vulnerable to nos, webs, scrams and such. In wolfpacks would I want to fit rails, and blasters in small fleet (so I can tackle and damage deal)? Thanks for all the help. --

I prefer ishkur, personally. I just sold my Enyo in fact since I never used it.

A neutron blaster Enyo pulls off brutal damage, you just have to either sacrife webber or scrambler. Very good for wolfpacks as damage dealer, kinda messy solo.

The Ishkur is definatley the better ship for solo, but what are you really going to kill solo with an AF? Any Inty with any sense will warp off so you'll only get the stupid and the ballsy ones. (Granted ballsy inty pilots usually have cool stuff like domi webs and gistii mwds but they're exceedingly rare) For wolfpacks the Enyo has the wonderful advantage of instant damage over a long range (or insane damage short range) and a strong armor tank. It can also make the quick warps and escapes common to frig combat the ishkur simply can't do due to the clunkyness of drones as a primary weapons. ---
