Since i havnt yet tried these rigs im wondering if anyone else has as yet tried the energy grid up grade rig since from what i can tell minmatar got screwed unless the description is wrong.
The power grid upgrade rig says it gives 10 extra power so unless someone missed the % out after the 10 it means that after u fit say 2 of the projectile rigs on to say a tempest which is notorius for being hard to fit u get a minus 10% poergrid nerf since with full projectile rig skills u get a 5% nerf per pro rig instead of the standard 10%.
A 1400mm set up with 2 projectile rigs would effectivly nerf the advanced weapons upgrade skill. So then u have to fit pdu or other low slot mod to counter the rig problem which means u can't fit say asmany giros or low slot sensor boosters u effectively can end up with a tempest that was almost the same without rigs as with.so that brings me to the point that i hope the description is wrong since all the other power mod rigs are a percentage and the power grid mod is just a typo coz lets face it a rig that only gives 10 to a ship is only good for frigs and inties or was that the point for that particular rig from the start.
All thoughts welcome especially from someone who has actually tried the powergrid mod rig

It's been tested - powergrid rigs do indeed give a percentage boost. They just forgot the %.

not only that, but they stack in compound manner, so that 3x grid rigs =33% increase in grid, not 30%
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer. |
