the so called backbone of the NVA is Jericho Fraction "location is Torrinos"...I think I speak for the rest of the eve community when I say " Jade is full of doo doo " therefor Im willing to pay this ungodly ammount of isk to finnaly rid us all of this serious issue. does anyone know what their point is?...all I see is a bunch of sensless post's, replies, flame...ect ect! but has anyone ever seen a Jericho member in battle?...um no....Jade talks all the smack ..but then sends her so called allies to get slaughtered by corps that specialize in pvp... and she wonders why so many people are attacking them ... hehe go figure.
so this is for the rest of the NVA...if you want me to remove this 1billion isk bounty on the termination of NVA ..i want Jade Constantine removed from power.... each day that goes by that she remains in power..i will add 5mil to the reward....

Secondly, she is the NVA PR rep, they are meant to post on the forums and generally be the voice of the NVA. Thats the whole bloody point in having them.
Thirdly, yes, I for one am pleased we have Jade as our PR rep. She is a cunning linguist  .

Another nail in the coffin of gameplay...
Can't people understand that there is more than one way to play a game?
The way I play is like this:
I convo DB and get a gang invite
I load up a kestrel incorrectly with all the wrong modules and head into space
We hunt for PC rats
We find one and chase it around lonetrek for 4 hours
We trap him in a system
we realise that we all have fitted the wrong modules and that no one brought a warp scrambler
we accidentally post this on local instead of gang chat
the rat logs off laughing
The second scenario is the same, only I end up getting podded.
So, we all play Eve differently. Sadly, I don't PvP either :)

I mean c'mon, just think about it. What would make more sense then the 3 most hated alliances teaming up to lay waste to the people they all hate anyways? CA is already allied with PA, and TPS lies between the two alliances. Natural allies to be sure. But it's not just that, all but PA (and even some of them) have adopted a "stfu and die, or come and fight us, we don't give a **** what you think or do" philosophy, as well as a PvP Kill everyone not friend kind of mentality. These are the people in eve that kill or convert, the ones dedicated to the death of others, because history, circumstance, and the rest of eve have driven then to do so (except TPS, who are just cool ass pirates ). |

So, the fact that the NVA is in a state of war has nothing to do with the (anti-pracy) NVA being isolated in the north, surrounded by all of the good pirate clans, and everything to do with the fact that we have a PR rep that can hold her own on the eve forum?
The NVA stands on princepals of anti-piracy and free travel. We are (unfortunately) living in a bad neighborhood full of people that rely on piracy and and extorsion for revenue. So, are you saying that if Jade stepped down, the pirate clans would stop attacking? I doubt it.
However, If I bring you a Jade corpse and a list of NVA members without Jericho on it, can I have the Billion ISK?

We have numerous examples of your guys, unable to hold their own in debate, simply using alts as mobile flame platforms which then disappear forever.
Look at the "challenge" to me on the main forums ... I got all excited and then discovered it was a flipping alt.

Its a catalogue of crappy alts from start to finish and all with an agenda to flame NVA and me without risking their main being made to look stupid.

It disappoints me more than anything Trinitron; I had (sometimes still do) great hopes for Eve as a geopolitical simulator for the rise and fall of space empires.
I really liked the idea of broad politics, interesting discussions, intrigue, happenstance, heroism and vision.
Above all I loved the idea of an adult environment for roleplay and interaction; maybe something like the great houses of Herbert's Dune, or the scope of Peter Hamiliton or Iain M Banks space opera.
So you might understand that when I go into an evenings gaming with those expectations reading.
"Jade we gonna r-ape yor ass"
from yet another pointless flipping alt flamer.
I lose my faith a bit, and my sympathy for the whole system of alts for people to hide behind.
And no, I'm not going to bother to petition it.
Because frankly I don't respect the person on the other end of that insult enough to warrent the time or the effort.
And I know that in the real world I could happily kick the muppet's teeth out for the disrespect.
But the point remains.
Its discordant seeing such trash uttered by game enemies.
I personally think alt users should be banned for a month and made to read a decent space opera novel.

Jade, I think you expect too much from the internet population. I made the same mistake once, So now I just largely ignore the player haters, unless I can think up some sardonic response. Which I normally can, and do.
My first rule of the internet is: everyone is immature until proven intelligent.
It makes it less annoying when you play against 8-year olds*, and a pleasant surprise when you meet someone with a real brain.
*works exceptionally well in FPS games.

Stay strong Jade and Miso and everybody else who has to put up with this nonsense. There's still some people out there who want to just enjoy the game and have some fun. In the end, that's what most of us are here for. Too bad there are some who's idea of fun is sending hate mail through alts and ganking noobs for the hell of it. It makes me sick. We all pay to play this game, so let's at least pretend to have a grain of respect for one another.
All you haters out there can call me a carebear if you wish, but this is how i feel about it. I'm here to have fun, and explore the many different sides to this game.
And i still beleive there's hope for your dream, Jade. This game has a long way to go yet and I know you're not going to let a bunch crummy flame mongers ruin your time on it. I have faith in that.

What has happened is the 'pirates' have pulled off a major heist. The theft of the Eve century, even. They've stolen your composure.
Lord Slappy, Captain Lugnut, Captain Carebear, cbiscuit, Persephonie, Fanatique D'Absinthe...the whole Muppet Show cast with someone's hand shoved up their ass. I've never made any bones about diving down into the muck for a good ole fashion tussle with anyone. It's part of who I am and I am this way in Real Life. Fortunately for me, in Real Life the majority of obvious Muppets were Henson's creations and I don't have to display my temper too often. I only have to go off on people maybe twice a year.
But the image your portrayed from day one was one of civility and decorum. Of late, that image has deteriorated more and more towards being 'One of the Bubbas'. Or worse, the image that keeps popping in my mind with every numpetymuppety phrase: some twisted geneticist's mad dna combination of Joan of Arc, Jerry Lewis and Doctor Suess.
Let Miso handle the wetwork (she seems competent and to enjoy that type of work). It's not good for a diplomat to have their composure stolen.

You have a point, I admit, you really do. But what can I say? I am only human at the end of the day, and nobody is paying me hazard bonuses to put up with continual abuse from people I despise.
And yes, I despise the use of alts to flame people.
Now, I kinda respect people who have the courage to go out on a limb with their main ... I mean, Viceroy annoys the living daylights out of me for example, but I don't despise him because he is using his main and fundimentally, If I don't like what he is saying I have the right to try to do something about it in-game. That chance alone provides equilibrium and zest.
But have a think for a moment about what I have had to put up with this weekend...
1. A guy who quit the game months ago comes back with an alt to flame me. What is that about? He doesn't even play anymore! What right does he have to come hurling abuse and imprecations at me?
2. Another guy creates an alt solely to flame half a dozen threads with pointless ranting, challenges me to a fake "duel" and then goes ..."hahaha wasn't that funny".
3. A right-wing nutcase posts another diatribe under another alt in the guise of some shoddy american scandal show.
4. Yet another alt spams every post under the guise of Captain Masocist with the same old tired b-ull****.
5. And still they come, we have the 1000000000 isk alt from this threat ... cheap shots, no risk, what is the point?
and lets not even talk about alts in-game ...
Crappy numpties alts making up insulting character names to spam our corp with.
People making "jade must die" alts to spam our forums with.
Foul-mouthed alts opening chat channels to spew sexual abuse when I am trying to have sensible conversations.
*sigh*
Jash, I am just all out of patience for this kind of s-hit play.
If people play the game and offer me a little respect then I am happy to return that respect.
But frankly, its zero tolerance for cowardly alts from my perspective from here on.
And now you can call me harsh but I'm going to lump a whole lot of crap play styles in with this kind of behaviour.
Corp thieves, ebayers of stolen loot, cheats, exploiters, harrassers, hackers, droning dullards and smack talking morons.
These tend to be the people that use these alts.
And frankly I wouldn't p-iss on any of them if they caught fire.
Once this trash gets cleaned out of the player base then perhaps I might have a chance of getting my sense of perspective back.

Then you lose. I played a pirate during beta. Lord knows during beta nothing counted. But I got death threats. I got 30-40 conversations per day (before CCP allowed you to auto reject invites) by being top bounty for a while. Summary of the conversations?
"Die!"
"Eat ****, griefer!"
"I hope your <insert family member> dies of cancer"
and my absolute favorite:
"Where are you?"
It's a price you pay for being known. Now I get "Troll" in local when flying through systems and I don't even have the satisfaction of turning around a vaporizing them like I'd do as a pirate
It's the price of 'celebrity'. The more known you are, the bigger the target you are and the more people take shots at you.
You became a 'celebrity' for your civility, rhetoric and comportment. But you're not helping your own situation lashing back at them. You're doing the exact same thing that a person you despise does, egging people on more and more to take more and more shots at him:

(BTW no offense Tank, but if you stopped responding to half what these nipples threw at you 3/4ths of the chimpanzees would stop throwing their fecal matter at you)

This is an evolving environment. Admittedly the total predominance of alt flamers in the environment has lately precluded any sensible political play.
The is no point roleplaying when the people you are interacting with are just there to make cheap attacks behind alts.
Why should anyone bother to put any effort into presenting an adult perspective and imaginative presentation to an environment filled (at the moment) with talentless tosspieces eager to make crappy alts from the untracable shadows?
One day some civility may return.
But its going to need these alts dealt with.

... Personal opinion obviously, but i think it's mostly the matter of carrying oneself in the way that lets you look in the mirror on the next day, and --remembering all you did the day before-- still being able to maintain the arrogant feel of superiority ;s
It's usually worth that extra effort...
