Anyone check the map recently? 7750 ships destroyed in jita during the last hour...? This is a glitch or something, right?

No Jita was destroyed, Jovians flew in with an unnamed craft and took to all the stations and players trying to escape.
Very interesting story arch.

um i dont see it on my map i think your map is broken bud i chked within the hour and 24 hours and 125 was all i got in the last 24 hours

My map is glowing red, half the 'galaxy' is covered up by Jitas 'Ships destroyed in the last 24 hours' marker :P

So, it's us chaps from slackers inc. We dec'd ASCN recently and found over 3000of them hiding in jita in various safespots. Weird thing was how they undocked afterwards only to get slaughtered.

One of my corpmates used a startbomb dom, we killed about 200 newbie frigates at a safespot i probed out. He went from 1.3 to -8.7 instantly, At this point i crashed, along with 200 other people in local.

Hopefully it was a strike on the Jita Agents Convention. Hopefully they will get the message it is a trade hub, and not a place to ply for missions and move out.
Carlsberg dont make Eve Pilots, but if they did, i wouldnt be one of them.

I heard of people destroying shuttles to salvage them..

my idea to turn jita into a pirate event ( ie devs taking on the role of murderous pirates and running amok of course players could kill their faction ships but they can kill anyone without concord interference) might have happened id still like to see a monthly raid on jita just to spice things up - maybe making it a big more dangerous might encourage some dispersion
