CCP really needs to reevaluate their bug fixing and patching system/cycle if it's going to take them more than 4 weeks to fix a critical bug such as this. It has become all too frequent for critical bugs, that I suspect already has fixes, to remain unfixed for unreasonable amounts of time. I've noticed that in the last year the patching cycle has been longer and less frequent, allowing too many bugs to go unfixed for too long.
Since EVE-mail is the only in-game method of communicating with players in mass and across different playing times, a bug of this nature should be considered a high-level, game breaking, critical bug. Although this bug may appear to be a player annoyance, the work around is to delete mails frequently thereby breaking the archivability function and the new mail notice function.
...and yes, we do sell and deliver ammo. 425 Express Delivery is available upon request, please see Hans Gates and Marcus Grisbius regarding this option. |

Is there a chance this will be fixed soon (tm) this is getting SOOOOOO annoying :) Washoping christmas gift would solve this.. (no christmas gift = no fix :-) )
Anyways we are well over a week in 2007 and still this is not fixed.
The chance of missing an important alliance wide evemail is so great atm, as everyone just starts deleting evemails to get rid of this (reoccured bug after a patch implementation).
Plz :) fix this

This is driving me nuts. It gets worse every day when I have another pile of email to re-uncheck. I know I've missed at least one business-related mail because I just go click-crazy to unread everything.
Also, I tried marking the cache not-read-only -- the computer happily does this, but showing properties on the cache folder again a second later shows that it's reset itself. Is that... good? In any case, I don't see how that accomplishes anything since it won't stay dead.
So, how's about a fix?

And what about giving the option to delete Corp mail?
Very annoying 1000 of corp mails in my box. 
Btw.This must be the most simple bug to fix in eve history why isnt been done yet? Just after done time?
Actually pointless to wright this because CCP want listen to this all anyway.
