How exactly do these work?
Do I need a set of pre-requisite skills before speaking to one?
As I found a Level 1, low quality Lai Dai and he wont speak to me as his skills pwn mine he says.
Any links to help sites would be appreciated.

Nevermind - I just read my agents info - that says which skills he focuses on.
Still any links to sites about R&D would be sweet!!

To use an R&D agent you need:
-High enough standing to use one like with regular agents.
-Science level 5
-Research level 1 to 5 depends on level of your agent (not 100% sure about level req. on this but if i remember correctly this is correct)
-Minimum level 1 in the the skill/field you want to research (this skill comes with a prereq. level 5 in either Engineering, Electronics or Mechanic) Look at skills like Electromagnetic Physics, Starship Engineering, Rocket Engineering and so on under the science tree)
