Edited by: Fargas on 24/11/2003 01:46:30 The stewardship we in the Empyrean Federation announced earlier today have ben put to a halt due to miscommunication between us and the council of CFS.
We therefor ask everyone to refrain from commenting and stating things that does not simply exist any longer nor ever have existed.
However we are true in our concern regarding environmental regulation and do hope that the CFS will comply with us in that matter. This is as we have explained to them, for the best of us all.
Henceforth we have withdrawn our statement from all sources originally published on and eagerly await the discussion and decisionmaking inside the CFS. We have returned the issue to the CFS Senate and are hoping for a good resolution for all parts involved.
The conciliation talks were productive and let's keep that with us in the near future.

Fargas, you have no authority to make that declaration. The Senate has yet to even consider your request. TheFederation needs to publicly , on this topic, withdraw its statement. To do otherwise could create serious problems that neither side desires.

We do not understand why the CFS would want to seek to cause problems between them and the Empyrean Federation.
As you all know, we are active partners to the CFS and also military support. We remember helping you out in chasing off pirates for hours on daily basis last couple of weeks. We remember giving you our full support during the CA war. We remember giving you ships and equipment in return for nothing but a free and lively CFS.
Please don't turn around on this and initiate problems with us, would only be wrong in all senses and nothing that we wish to happen. Since the area in question has been almost totally unoccupied for many weeks.. but now suddenly has had a massive influx of CFS ships. We can only deduce that this matter has been discussed within CFS and a decision being reached and acted upon. Not only against our interests but spurning our private discussions.
Our representatives will contact you shortly.

Actually, no action has been taken. The problem is that you folks want to take action without agreement.

Edited by: Raindrop on 23/11/2003 19:23:04 I think I can speak for all senators in saying that we haven't heard about this whole subject because Yodaron didn't have time yet today to post the subject in the senate chambers. And I know you've been told that he'd post it today. You have also been informed about the period of time it takes for our senate to reach a decision after it's been posted. You have been asked to wait and respect the CFS governing body. You have failed to wait and blatantly disrespected the Senate.
And now you are already declaring "Stewardship" so the first time we (the senate) hear about this self-declared "Stewardship" is through your declaration about a part of CFS space.
My personal opinion about your hastiness and about your conclusions based on info that you didn't even check is: You should go work for the Eve-Guardian. And you've sunken your chances of getting my aye on any bill that still has to be posted about your "Stewardship".

Spanker of absolut profit just came into Y5C-YD and ordered my mining op out. As they intend not to allow mining there. I told him he is violation of the free space bill. LET me put this in no uncertain terms. The emperian federation WILL NOT CLOSE OFF CFS SPACE. As per the free space bill you will be given the opportunity to cease controling our area or be destroyed.
Senator Ends.

Fargas,
As your aware your proposal has been put forth for consideration in the CFS Senate. You were also informed it usually takes one to two weeks for non-critical items to go thru the debate and voting process. Your post claiming these systems is premature given we've just started discussing your proposal.
The Free Space Bill of the CFS clearly prohibits closing off any part of CFS space. It isn't up for negotiation. Its the way it is. Imagine if we allowed you to do this then tomorrow five other corps tried to seize constellations like your doing. Can you see why even ONE group can't be allowed to do this? If you want to claim space in this manner I'd suggest you try claiming space not part of any alliance.
Don't consider us hostile toward you. We've always viewed your corporation as a good friend. We enjoy having your people around. Still a proposal like this is clearly in violation of the CFS Free Space Bill. I wanted to see if you understood that. I hope you can see why something like this can never be allowed even once. For doing it once sets a precedence that would happen again and again until there is no CFS left, only 100 small constellation size "stewardship" areas.
I'd ask you to withdrawl your claim and give the CFS Senate time to discuss the matter. I'd also ask you respect the Free Space Bill and all it stands for.

Calladen Nimitz,
we are fully aware of what CFS stands for and the various bills the CFS Senate has approved.
Unfortunately you do not know everything concerning this matter. However. We have reached an agreement with the CFS Council and eagerly anticipate what will come out of it.

Edited by: Badger on 24/11/2003 08:54:02 I have to agree on this one on the side of CFS. The FS bill is very clear about closing off any area of the CF protectorate from mining. Quote: This bill proposes that no entity be allowed to close off any portion space under the CFS control to mining or travel or NPC hunting. Any entity that chooses to try to control and exclude others from any section of space in Khanid or the three regions to the south shall be given the opportunity to cease hostilites and make reparations before they are destroyed.
The rest of it being Free Space
