Discuss, please.
My opinion is that the shield penalty for MWD is too large and should be adjusted to 25% in line with the capacitor penalty.
I'd also like to see a restriction of one MWD equipped per ship unless CCP can change the effect of webifiers.

I'd still rather suffer the 50% shield penalty and keep the ability to move quickly to/from danger but it is impossible to stop anyone with 2 MWD's unless you use 5 webifiers from a standing point.

My Christmas list to Santa Claus:
1) Only one MWD per ship. 2) Jumpgates cannot be insta-jumped from a bookmark or by jumping from a certain planet/moon. 3) Invulnerability timer is changed. 4) Simultaneous loading for clients to remove lag-inducing game engineering  5) Random, or at the very least numerous (more than 4), jump-in points per system. 6) Cameron Diaz in her birthday suit

Since virtually everyone uses an MWD in battle, shouldn't we just get rid of the penalties altogether and allow only one to be equipped?
As a Caldari pilot, I'd love actually having a decent advantage from my Scorpion's shield bonus and natural race advantage.

I mean, as many people have pointed out, having a MWD or 2 does not guarantee escape, it just makes the chances better. If you have enough webs you can stop anything. Who says there should be a 1 to 1 ratio? Sure you need more ships but for f*cks sake you are setting up a blockade! You have the element of surprise and time to prep. If you can't stop anything with your blockade then get more mates or go home. It's just that simple.
Since a double-MWD'd ship can travel the average jumpgate run-in distance of 35km in approx. 4 seconds, you'd be hard pressed get a target-locked nevermind try to activate all your guns.
5 webbers can hold a double-MWD'd ship from a standing start but, like above, if he is already moving there's no way in hell you'll stop him with 5 webbers.

Dont see any reason that anything should automatically be any easier for the agressor. You already get to pick when, where, and how many on your side.
You cannot catch a double-MWD'd ship anywhere but at a lagged out JIP.

I can't speak for CC but most of Stain combat pilots don't even use MWD.
I find it hilarious that you give us these accusations when Milk (so he can run to grids more quickly), RainMan (so he can run through gates when he doesn't have an insta-jump bookmark), Ronin (mustn't know how bookmarks work), and several other CA "combat" pilots spend their entire gaming time with 2 MWD's equipped.
