El Paco	Posted - 2003.11.24 01:12:00 - [1] Edited by: El Paco on 24/11/2003 01:45:46 Edited by: El Paco on 24/11/2003 01:45:17 I was sitting at the entry piont from Amarr in Sarum Prime with two of my corp mates Aaron Meyers and Tek Na'Shakk waiting for unexpecting victims to get some loot and maybe som cash ransoming their pods. When I hear a big bang and the bord lights up showing a threat, a PIE battleship. I start screaming orders to my bridge crew to lock him down and total chaos erups among my men. The targeting computers start to lock him but he has already jumped in to warp and he gets away. I curse myself for not being faster and so do Aaron and Tek. After taking a closer look who we missed again I curse my self it was Risith, we had ncounterd him before and that time we couldnt even get trough his shield. I sat in my chair mumbeling to myself I realy wanted this man dead. Awhile later the board lights up with a threat again Risith is back. we start to lock him again this time it's order on the bridge we get a lock and start jamming him up, Unfotunaly he is out of scramble range. He then just sitts there our jammers are running and we start to discuss what to do, we decide that Aaron are going to make a run towards Risith and try to get in scramble range. He closes in fast but before he is in range Risith jumps to warp and is lost. This repeat itself a second time with risith wearping in on the oposite side this time we target him jam him and again it's decided that Aaron is going to make the run and Risith jumps to warp yet again. This time Aaron stays. Time goes and in jumps some poor victime that we target and dispose of swift and effectivly. Aaron decides to come back to me and tek to pick up the frozen corps. At this point Risith warps back in to the same location as he left not long ago. I start to get a little frustrated he is disturbing our fun. We go trough the procedure of targeting and jamming him again Aaron start to make the run imidiatly this time to get Risith to warp right away so we dont have to spend to much time on him. I ignore him content with that he will soon jump to warp and we can pay attention to what we are here for. I take a look at the range to target and WTF is he acctually making his way towards us? Aaron starts shouting on the comm -I have him hes warp scrambled He moves in closer and manage to get Risith webed. I come to my senses quickly ordering my crew to take me on an approch vector and start fireing all launchers and guns. Space lights up with torpedos and missile fire from Myself Tek and Aaron they close in and starts hitting Risith, nothing happens his shields flicker some of the impacts but nothing. The Shield hardeners and Booster on his armageddon makes our weapons fire look like fire *****ers, I cant belive this the scenario from our last encounter repeats itself. Our missiles continue to pour and I'm thinking to myself what a waste. Then BOOM the shield on Risith ship are cut in half and continue to drop he must have run out of cap and cant maintain all his hardeners and booster. The missiles and torpedoes start to do their jobb eating down his shield and slowly chewing trough his armor and hull. Space is now filled with missiles moving fast towards it's target eating away at his hull. -I'm all out Tek has run out off missiles and has nothing left to fire I take a look towards Risith and start laughing hystericly, who cares Tek is out of missiles the long row coming from his ship will kill Risith I'm sure this PIE is dead, the Gods are smilling our way this day. My crew thinks I have gone insane, I'm laughing so hard I fall out of my Captins chair. The proud Amarr battleship is in high flames slowly crubmleing and shaking towards it's death when all of a sudden -NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it's Aaron screeming like someone has stabbed him in the back with a knife. I quickly get back up in my seet looking toward Aaron, the outer hull lights start to flicker and his ship shuts down and the warpscrambler release its lock. I stand up in horror as I realise he wont be able to power his ship back up in time to get the warp disruptor online. My targeting computers release their lock and Risith jumps to warp and dissapears into space. I fall to my knees with my face buried in my hands, -God this is not fair we had him, we had him......

I noticed a huge amount of errors in this story but to tired to correct them

The Gallente ideals of Freedom, Liberty and Equality will be met by the Amarr realities of Lasers, Armor and Battleships.

But manage to take the beating we made on Risith is unreal. I've unloaded two full loads of cruisers missiles, that's over 80 missiles and almost none of them hit each other. The Armageddon only has 3 med-slots so the equipment could not have been more then a XL-shield booster, (EM-Shield) and a MWD. It's was a nice escape but don't think your luck will remain the next time.
