Heya all. I have had my Navitas for quite some time. It will take quite some days before I can use a vexor. So I have a question on what to get for my navitas. I am a miner, yeap.
What I got now:
Miner II
EP-S Gaussinan I Excavation Pulse
2 Basic Expanded Cargohold
Micro Shield Extender I
+ a light scout drone.
So, any ideas?

Micro Shield Extender is more or less useless
Buy some Cargo Expanders 1 once you have the ISK for them, they'll serve you well on a Vexor too
Don't mine, its boring and the roids have feelings too

Hehe thanks, I will see to it.
I got 16 million isk after my new coorp wanted to help me on starting up. So that's not a problem. I just promised not to spend them all at once.

If defense is no issue you could switch to a mining drone, which should help already.
As was already said: Expanded Cargoholds help to mine longer in one go, a Mining Laser Upgrade helps to mine faster (which I prefer). I'm not sure if it'll fit though, since it increases the CPU-demand of your mining lasers.
Oh and... mine high quality ores to earn more in the same time. ;)

If you are really daunting, you could fit some throwaway stuff on it like just 2x Miner I and an AB for speed-tank against rats, go visit some low-sec system with a station where you can refine well and mine Jaspet.
With decent mining and frig skills your hold fills in about 90 secs so even low-sec rats shouldn't kill you in this timeframe (speed tank with the AB if necessary), dock, unload, go see next belt.
If you are lucky, you have some pirates cleaning out the rats in the belts for you and if a pirate locks you in belt, simply eject, warp to station, congrat him in local, wait five minutes, jump into the next Navitas and continue.
(An up-to-date clone nearby helps for sure just in case anything goes wrong.)
If you have a hauler as well, you can even jet-can mine as long as rats reappear. Fit the hauler for agility, pick-up the can contents and warp back to station, then go to next belt.
A Navitas BPO costs 200k and since you are a miner, simply build your own Navitases over and over so no actual loss involved when your ship is blown up.
Given the current nocx and zyd prices and provided you manage to move the refined stuff out of system, this might actually be more profitable in regard of isk/hour than mining Omber in 0.5.
