Hello,
Is there an easier way to lock targets other than the right-click context menu? I'm asking because the items in the overview tend to jump around a lot, which sometimes makes it confusing. I'd love a hotkey or something, but I couldnt find any in the hotkeys list..
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Amberle Jin

Hmm, now I am wondering if there is perhaps also a way to un-lock faster? :)

The fastest way to unlock something is to kill it .
Other than that, right click and "unlock", or use the overview settings.

I played the game almost 4 months before I found this out. The experience borderd on the religious.

Afaik, you cannot do that. Personally, I've "bound" one of the thumb buttons on my MX510 to Ctrl. Quicklocking with one hand is oh so goood ;o

Another good one is ctrl-space to stop your ship or cancel warp (only works while you're aligning). You can also map a key to open your cargo hold (I use ctrl-shift-c) and another for the autopilot (ctrl-shift-a), and then you can hide the buttons to the left of your circular HUD, for more room for your chat windows.
The overview you can customize, and I've removed police drones and sentry guns, leaving only player ships, stations and gates. Saved that. Also, I have another overview setup with no player ships, just stations, for travelling to Jita (lessens the lag a lot).
