We do have a POS included 2 Labs. The POS itself is in the Low Sec, 0.3 to be exactly.
I have now skilled Scientific Networking to LVL 2 (5 Jumps)
Our Corp Headquarter is 3 Jumps away from the POS in the same Region. (The Forge) When I fly to the POS and move my BPO's into the Mobile Lab Hangar, I can easily start a research job. However I would prefer to avoid those hastle to fly each time to the POS to pick up some BPO stuff and more. The system where the POS is located does have several NPC Stations, but we do not have a Office there. How can we solve this problem so that we do not have to fly so ofte to the POS for those things? I thought I can have the BPO in the Headquarter Office which is 3 Jumps away and start the Job remotely from there. However I am getting confused and have read several threads about that, maybe it is just a small part of what I oversee.

The BPOs must be in the same system as the POS. You can have them safe in an office hangar at any of the stations in that system. You can then research remotely from 5 jumps away, and just pick up any copies you make from the POS when you go there for refuelling.... ___________________________________________ Selling BPCs of almost all seeded BPOs. The Scientific Networking skill does work; but the BPO does need to be in the same system as the lab/POS.
Rent a Corp Office in the system - put the BPO in one of the Divisions/Hangers.
Once this is done, you can subsequently perform remote research from a distance, without going back to the system. BPOs are researched and appear back in the Station's Corporate Hanger.
2 exceptions should be noted:
1) The first time a BPO is researched (or used in any fashion), you must be in the same place and use the right-click menu options - otherwise it doesn't show up in your BPO lists - it needs 'something' done to it to transform it from a simple item into its own entity.
2) When copying, the BPO will return to the place it started, but Copies appear in the POS labs. Also, when doing T2 research, all the items you also need to do the research (Reports, RDb's etc) must be in teh Labs - but the BPO can still be in the station.
Hope that helps.

Not entirely true. You can look an unresearched (unpackaged) BPO up in the corp assets tab, and do remote research on it through that interface. ___________________________________________ Selling BPCs of almost all seeded BPOs.
